Like to hear some comments from fans who attended the non wing sprint show at Badlands Speedway. Looks like a pretty good field of cars there.

great show and crowd, side by side racing in the feature. anybody who complains is not a race fan. was really cool seeing the non wing show in this area. only down side was wrecked cars. Simon, Leary, Bacon and Mellenbrent all were upside down. Simon and Learys car were junk for sure. TK and Dobs both ran B and transfer and looked way better as the night went on. Can wait to go back tonight. Thanks Chuck

It was a pretty good show. The track set up nicely, no beer grader needed. It was a good field of cars, the crowd wasn't great. I notice that the grandstands are a lot wider now, there is no grass hill in turn 4 anymore so it's hard for me to guess but I would say there was maybe 3500 people there. The 50/50 drawing was 1200 which would indicate a bigger crowd. All in all it was a good night, the facilities are awesome. They added another big screen on the outside of the turn four suites. I'm hoping that they figure out how to play nice because the track really is top notch now.

I was impressed with the USAC boys. Normally not a non-winger fan but these guys haul ass. Takes me back to the old days of before the wings came around. Only bad things as mentioned already was some of the cars getting up and over. Bacon had bad luck all night. Slammed the wall in time trials and bite the cushion in the feature. Simon's and Leary's car were junked. Front ends where gone at the radiators.
Was wondering what USAC usually pays to wins, The kid that won said this was his biggest pay day in his career.????
Crowd was good and the track was good. No grader racing.... Would really like to see USAC fully sanctiion this as a points race. One thing I want to really applaud the USAC racers last night is that they were WILLING TO UNLOAD LAST NIGHT AND PIT IN THE INFIELD UNLIKE THE OUTLAW PUSSIES.....
Also would really like to see POWRI or USAC midgets come around also.

Really good show with a lot of good compitition options. Track looked real tacky, with quite a defined cushion.
As the feature unfolded, created really close sliding in and out of turn four for position.
The track offering this type of payday could open options I would assume.
May see some "real" rim-riding tonight going for the pay day.
Looked like people were having a good time and enjoying themselves, at the end of the day, isn't that what it's about.

It was a hell of a good show except for the crashfest in the last 10 laps of the main.
Definitely not paying $50 tonight to watch a 35 lap winged feature plus B & A Main for the USAC cars.

Usacs normal purse is 21k total and 5k to win. Which might be why they were so eager to please....

Sounds like the top ten in points in each class will do a redraw and race a scramble that will determine the top ten starting positions. Also heard the late models will be back tonight.
