They are the best weekly racers in the country. One bad weekend does nothing to change that. The fact is, on neutral turf, they consistently out perform the Posse as does just about everyone else.

I will say it is going to be a little bit harder for gators to carry on his Brian Brown love fest a whole another year. The flame should have already burned out a couple of years ago...lol.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com

Outlaws top 4 at nationals, last year they took the top 5 spots. I thought they were supposed to suck now outside of Schatz. This is confusing.

No way. Best finish on their HOME TRACK was Ian Madsen, 9th, one spot behind good ole Hodnett.
Who knows what DeWease would have done...
I know you're trying to be open minded, but get with The Posse, man!

In defense of Brown, he was a solid lock for the A---before getting caught up in someone else's mess.

A solid lock who had just gotten passed by Schuchart for 4th. He wasn't a factor all week.

I'm sure Dewease would've ran well. As much as I love the Posse, they're not what they were at this point in time. Dewease and Hodnett are the only 2 guys who I think can beat anyone, anywhere. Dietrich is close but he's not a great qualifier which holds him back. Marks is getting there as well but he also struggles with putting a whole night together, even here at home. I look at the whole field, top to bottom and I think the locals in the Midwest are the best right now because of the depth of their talent. In a few years once some of the Posse's up and coming talent hits it's stride that will likely change but right now, the Posse is second best.

Give me the top 5 regulars from central PA, top 5 from Knoxville, top 5 from CA, or any other region and run at Volusia or Charlotte or Eldora or any other "neutral" track and I know what 5 I'm taking.
And that's even without the 7 defectors to Badlands.

I stand corrected. My memory does not serve me well that late at night. I was thinking he was running 2nd or 3rd at the time.

What has happened to Brownie? He used to be a threat but seems to have dropped off some over the last couple of years. I agree that he should have been in the A if not for getting caught up in someone's crash, but he has lost some speed here. He was the one that passed Schatz on lap 44 two years ago and now he's struggling to make the A. I miss seeing him up at the front and hope he figures it out and rebounds next year.

What about Lasoski? With his Big Muddy sponsorship and top crew guy? I thought they would be more of a factor on Saturday night...

Kaeding on winged nation during the nationals basically said being a regular at Knoxville can hurt for the nationals because you almost have too much setup data and the track doesn't end up looking like anything they race at all year.
Its time for Brown to go on the WoO tour or race a lot more with them. He needs To raise his game and no better place to do that than with the best.

lol, once again he forgot that there is a pedal on the left side and failed to use it to avoid an accident. This just after he did one of his patented hop the cushion moves.

Brownie qualified ok all week. But aside from a big move in turn 1 of his heat on Fri to go from 4th to 1st he struggled to catch anyone all week. He lost a spot in his heat on Wed and finished where he started in the B, 5th and out of the A. On Sat in the C he had passed a couple I think but didn't appear headed to a transfer spot when he nearly looped it pushing too hard on the bottom. It definitely wasn't like his last few nationals where he appeard to be faster than almost everyone. He was possibly the biggest surprise for me. I figured him to be a contender on Sat night. He turned to not be a factor any night.

Brown can't run the bottom. When he needed to make moves on the bottom or if the high side wasn't the fast grove during the race he struggled. A lot of races have been won on the bottom lately but it was great watching Jason Johnson beat Schatz by running the top side around him! It usually sucks when the races are won around the bottom. I think Brown would have had much better luck with the track where it was during the A main.
As for the Posse.... & Pittman, Pittman showed he really could only block and not pass a single lap car. The Posse showed on Friday night that they can find rubber down tracks on the bottom before the rest. They must be used to rubber down tracks unlike the regulars. All jabs aside though the Posse is full of some really good drivers and so are the Knoxville Regulars. The regulars just didnt have a great week like some would have hoped for.
For the rest that still aren't satisfied, did you watch Ian Madsen in the World Challange? It was a freight train on the bottom and Ian had her pinned to the wall and made moves to get up to 2nd. A pretty exciting race in my book. K. Kinser would have had his hands full on a restart.

Yeah and if they raced 10 times there would be a different winner every night. Why are grown men arguing about what region has the best Sprint drivers? How can a zip code determine whether someone is good or not? Jason Johnson comes from the hot bed of Sprintcar racing in Louisiana Lol. You guys like to compare drivers like it somehow has somthing to do with you. Duh, if I live near da best drivers that makes me cool and a better fan than you. Great job guys, you are all super fans for your regions, be proud and make an ass out of yourself and let everyone know by putting down the other regions!

He actually had just passed him back. Yeah, he sucked all week, and he'd be the first to admit that. But for three or four years, he really was the only one who had a chance to beat him.
All of a sudden, he has a bad week, and ya'll think he sucks? That's definitely not the case. A terrible week? Yes. An abberation? Probably.
