I am really excited for our California racers Tim Kaeding and Rico Abreu for winning at Knoxville! I really miss watching these guys race locally, but very proud that they are showing the world these short track guys can master a big Knoxville track Can't wait to see what they do tomorrow night! Good luck to everyone and hoping for an exciting and safe race!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

We need to stop segregating and favoring certain groups of people. Getting excited about the cars and engines is much nicer to our fellow human beings. If the dems continue to rule everyone might be forced to only route for cars and not put certain people ahead of others. I am way ahead of my time.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Don't forget Willie Kroft who won a heat the other night with little experience on the ig tracks.

To root for someone's "Homies" is just harmless fun. I wouldn't take such things seriously. The Aussies can puff their chests out today as they have the entire second row for tonights A-Main.Good job by those drivers. Personally, Im looking at my Okie bothers doing well with Pittman on the pole and Stewart in the fourth row. Somebody needs to slay the South Dakota dragon though

Ahead of your time? More like behind on your meds. There isn't a damn thing wrong with being excited about seeing your local racers doing well on sprint car racings biggest stage as long as it doesn't reach the level of bullshitery that some Posse folks do. And for the love of God, fuck off with the politics. We see enough of that garbage everywhere else. Let's just stick to sprint cars. Arguing over politics never did anyone any good. All that happens is people get pissed off, feelings sometimes get hurt and no one EVER changes their mind. Complete waste of time. Just vote for your guy or gal and leave it at that.

I wonder if everyone getting a stiffy over what zip code a driver uses instead of the equipment evolves from evil deep seeded republican racism

I wonder if rooting for a brand name that doesn't even build the engines or have an entry evolves from prolonged isolation

You are one miserable son of a bitch if I've ever seen one. So some people from California are happy to see one of their own do well. What the hell is wrong with that? You know, typical humans have these things called feelings. Take Rico for instance. He's a really nice guy, one hell of a driver and has overcome his small physical stature to become one of the greatest drivers in all of motorsports. People who actually have a brain, will typically like a guy like him, especially if they've met him and seen what a nice kid he really is. So therefore, they're happy when he does well. Especially those who watched him race early in his career at their local tracks. They have an emotional attachment to him as a person. A car or engine is not a person. It's simply an object. Normal humans don't get obsessed with an object unless it has deep personal meaning to them whether it's something that belonged to a loved one, or something they owned for a long period of time and has many memories attached to it. Even those objects, usually don't get placed above human beings by normal people. Does that clear it up for you a bit or are you too psychologically "special" to get it?

I had an emotional attachment to my Ford "Chicanoline" van cause it took me to 352,000 miles of interesting places, lived in it, used it for work
I like my Ford Focus cause its taken me wherever I need to go for 108,000 (but AC is broken on one of the hottest weeks of the year, costing me most of USAC midget week in Pa.)
But that doesn't have jack to do with sprint cars
If somebody ran one, I might root for him....

It's kind of like this......you might love that new car, but it isn't ever going to hug you or smile at you. I had a wife like that....loved the new furniture, until it wasn't new anymore, then wanted to "love" a new dining room set.....then new carpet......one thing after another....she just never realized those material things were never going to love her back. Anyway.....I gave up and got myself a new wife (high school sweetheart after 30 years actually)....she smiles all the time and hugs me whenever she pleases, which I'm happy to say is quite often. By the way, the car she drives is 9 years old, mine is 11years old and we've had the same leather furniture for 16 years! Never been happier! And I'd like to see our boys here in the midwest....Knoxville, Jackson and Badlands do well tonight....but they sure do have their work cut out for them.

Wait...did anyone do a head count of states represented in each alphabet race?
Some states only have a few cars representing...and the spread of representation thru the alphabet is interesting.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

I'll be rooting for a certain Posse car tonight that has an Aussie behind the wheel. I hope that sum bitch relocates to PA and runs weekly here after the performance he's had in the Highlands car this past month. He's earned it.

I've known many people like that and they never were and never will be happy because they don't have a damn clue about what's really important in life. I truly do feel sorry for people like minthess because they live in misery while missing out on all the things that make life truly worth living. Glad you found happiness. My wife is much the same as yours. We just live happy and free not giving a single shit about material things. Not too many people left like that in the world today. Too much emphasis on "things" and not enough on family, friends and all the little things that really matter.

Same here. McFadden is a badass. Been a fan of his ever since he ran a few shows here in PA driving the 55 car. I'd love to see more of him here. All he needs is a little more seat time at our tracks and he'll be winning a lot of races.

But how about those California boys?
The Cushion broadcast was OK, but I wish I could have been there to see Larson's charge! (in addition to electricity of a great race & upshot of Donnie... & smell of methanol) On the broadcast you can only see what the cameraman is following
