I cannot believe this is happening.... After all the bad news this week, finally some good. This isnt a show anyone will want to miss! The IRA shows there have been GREAT!

And it is the annual cornfest weekend. Get there early get some corn and find a seat. This is probably going to be a standing room only event.

Have they mentioned pricing since this was originally an Ira event is it Ira pricing or WoO pricing? I went there once for the nsl show and it was fun to watch

I'm sure it will be Woo pricing. Only info so far is tickets will be available soon through SLS promotions. The NSL show was really good. Was bummed that they didn't return this year.

Better yet woo rules or ira. How many ira cars are woo compliant. Axle thickness , wheel cover , mufflers , woo driver entry . So how many ira cars run or do they let the rules slide.

IRA runs their rule book off the World of Outlaws rule book. Axle tethers etc. All IRA legal cars should be able to run by the WoO rulebook. Steve Sinclair does this so the IRA guys can go run with the outlaws without having to change much, if anything. But if I had to guess, I would think they would mostly run WoO format etc. Tickets will definetely be at a premium on such short notice. The good thing is, there really isnt a bad place to sit at Angell Park. Since it is during Cornfest, there will be some prime photo opportunities with the fair taking place outside the backstretch. Perfect time for the Outlaws to make their first Angell Park visit!

When WoO ran at Beaver Dam (night Balog won) I think 5 or 6 (including Balog) IRA cars ran. It's being billed as co-sanctioned and it also is a "points night" for IRA cars, so I'm thinking every car running IRA points will be there.
The IRA Press Release includes this at the bottom, for what it's worth:
Note: 1. Our teams pay is based on both purses, thus if IRA car wins it gets $10,000 not $2500, however if our best car is 10th it would get our first place $2500 as it exceeds WoO 10th place. Same would be true for other IRA finishing positions that pay more than the WoO $800 start $. 2. No IRA team will receive less than $200, many B positions pay more. 3. IRA membership cards will be honored for $25 as usual. 4. We receive our full sanction fee and our teams will receive our normal tow money package. 5. WoO membership fee's for teams who have yet to purchase them will be waived as it is hyped as a co-sanction. 6. IRA points will be awarded, exact point structure will be announced at Friday Wilmot Fair race. 7. It is Bumper To Bumper Night as employees and special clients have ticket/concession packages for this night.

We will have to see at the fair. Beaver dam lets you go no muffler but i dont think that angle park can get away with that.

Note to Badlands.... this is how tracks, promoters, and sanctioning bodies are supposed to work together for the benefit of everyone,... fans drivers, owners, series, and venues.

The IRA takes care of their guys. If they were to get screwed out of monies, with it originally beng an IRA show, I don't think Steve would have stepped up....

Agreed. This is exactly how it's supposed to be done. Hopefully as you requested, Chuck is paying attention although I don't think it would do any good because people like him cringe when they see this kind of thing. Looks like the folks up there have a great show coming their way. Watched some videos from Angell Park and it looks like a kick ass little track.
