Congrats to Jamie on a heck of a run and a big win for sure! One thing that struck a bit odd was “Our qualifying numbers lacked a little bit because of a bad draw" Jamie went out 29th and timed 13th.
3rd Lasoski (went out 25th)
4th Roberts (went out 24th)
5th J Swindell (went out 37th)
7 out of the 12 cars ahead of Ball in time trials actually went out after he did. I honestly thought that was one of the best time trial track I had ever seen as far as not going away during time trials.

Giles and Jeff Swindell went out in the last 5 cars and both went top 7 in time. The reason he has such an abnormally low point total for a winner is because of his 4th place heat race finish.

No doubt. I was following and saw that the B-main had already gone green and it was only around 8:30. Don't get me wrong, I like a nice, long night at the races. However, nice to know they can kick it in the can if the radar is looking nasty!
That all being said, it is driving me nuts that I can't head to Knoxville until next Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if I can take it!

Hats off to the 41 teams that were in the pits too... did everything the officials asked of them all night long to pull it off! I don't think the B transfers had a lot of time to change much before the A. Add fuel and tearoffs... go, go, go!

Just like the good ol days! No half hour break, the A main cars were in staging when the B finished. You had enough time to change tires, add fuel, and add a couple tearoffs.

Agreed! It was a group effort by all involve, sprinkled in with a touch of luck.
