No way is he back in the #7 next year. Never thought I'd see him be a back marker on the WoO tour!

Are you saying he is going to leave or they are going to get rid of him?
If he leaves, do you think he can find a better ride? Its not like there are a lot of woo rides out there. I don't see him leaving unless he has another ride. I'd be nice to see him in the Motter car but I don't know what they will be looking to do.
If you're thinking they are going to get rid of him, who do they bring in that is better? That's not a top tier ride for any series really. If he does leave it might open up a shot at Sheldon Haud to get in a woo ride though.

I dont see Paul going any where till he finds another ride. I would hate to see him pushed out like Haud and dollansky, but stranger things have happened. Rick Rogers needs to make changes in other places and from past history it wont happen. I dont think Lil" haud wants to go backwards. The 93 car is lower budget and kicking but.

That car is as close to a career killer as there is. What a mistake if Sheldon should jump in to that car if the seat opens up. I would hope that McMahan dumps that ride even if he has to find a developement ride and not run the WoO tour like Dollansky has done. That car has set back two careers now. Career drivers that had run top 3 in the WoO points. Neither one of those drivers just suddenly forgot how to drive a sprint car.

I think Paul will be doing much better from this point on!!!!
Rick has finally listened to his driver for once! " ITS ME OR ITS HIM, ONE of US IS GOING HOME" Benic left Eldora Friday night!!
after Craig had it out no one listened thought he was a bully, after gravel having half a season with them and not being able to pull off a win But had some decent runs considering set ups. And now Paul only able to pull off only 1 top 5 this whole season who is a veteran driver Who should of made Benic look like a super star. Is now gone!
Lets see how the number 7 does now!!

Braydon said big changes were coming on twitter. I also noticed a tweet that mentioned everyone but Scott.
Friday night at the Royal it looked like he was running Firestone 500's that they forgot to groove. I felt bad for Paul. Let’s be honest, he did not go from winning races last year to not making shows because he forgot how to drive… I am not sure the guy who turned the fastest lap ever, forgot how to qualify…
Gravel and Paul switch cars and they both are now looking like the other from last year. Gravel is winning and Paul is struggling.
Scott is a good mechanic, but I think there is a slight trend to that car with him as the wrench. There are too many good drivers that have removed their seats from that ride.

That car is now described as the "Penalty Box". Paul would be making more money if he was jumping from ride to ride this year. Need a new crew chief for sure.

I've thought about maing a similar thred for a while, although with the Destiny Ride as the subject and not Paul. I hate to "bash" or talk about about a team fielding a car, especially one fielding a car in the largest traveling series, but the Destiny ride seems to just crush drivers. The common demoninator seems to be Benic. Not bashing the guy, but they've rolled through several, albeit it veteran (outside of Gravel obviously), drivers who have won A LOT of races combined. The Destiny ride just cannot seem to get things going in the right direction. And it's reputation as a "quality ride" is less then stellar.

IMO they should have spent more time on the ASCoC Tour, and with Haud in it they should have let Bonzai help.

Something needs tyo change for sure, their first half of the year has been dreadful. Don't know if its crew or chassis or what, but I agree that Paul hasn't forgot to drive.

McMahon is a good talent and deserves a better ride for the WoO tour. I think Destiny would be a better All-star/NSL team.

Agreed. Paul is a hell of a nice guy and he is a very good driver. I'm not sure if that team would too well with the All Stars or NSL though. Even before they went with the WoO full time, that car was a disappointment. Several very talented drivers have been in the seat and the results haven't been real good. I'm not sure if the budget isn't there or if they just haven't been able to find the right combination of equipment but I'm certain the drivers haven't been the problem. Hopefully they'll figure it out and we'll see Paul back up front where he belongs.
