actually he won his heat from second so that takes care of your post..and that just happened to give him enough points to get in the redraw which as we all know can go good or bad which for sammy just happenened to be good for once..so sorry he won from the front row but thats the luck of the draw!...

He started on the front row for both his heat and the feature. Let's not act like he started in row 4 of the feature and
pass a bunch of cars. Yeah he started 2nd in his heat and had to beat the dominate Scott Bogucki through turn 1. I'm not a Sammy supporter but have nothing but respect for his career. Let's pump the breaks on him doing much in August.

It would be the coolest thing ever if Sammy won the Nationals. I just wish I could be there to witness it in person. It's a long shot for anyone not named Donny Schatz but I would never be dumb enough to count Sammy out. He's still pretty damn good and anyone who has been around the sport long enough knows just how valuable confidence is. If he racks up a bunch wins leading up to the Nationals and goes into it with a fast car and a good level of confidence, we could very well see Sammy standing at the top of the podium after Saturday night.

I would love to see anyone dethrone Schatz, but Sammy can't win the Nationals. It's called the Swindell curse, and it's just like the Andretti curse at the Indy 500. Sammy has only won it once and won't be allowed to win it again, just exactly like Mario at Indy. That blown tire in 2010 wasn't really a bad tire, it was the curse.... Poor Kevin, if he gets to make a comeback he probably won't be allowed to win it either...

Dusty was beside Sammy in the middle of 1 & 2. Sammy had the better lane coming off 2.
As I said in my post, Sammy obviously had a good set up.
He had pulled out to a big lead before the first yellow.
Just saying as long as Sammy stayed on the bottom Dusty had no chance.
And I like Sammy, so acting like I'm bashing him just makes you look stupid.
And my nick name has nothing to do with JFK's assassination.

Just seemed to me that we were excuse hunting as to why Zomer couldn't get past Swindell, (a la Heskin ran out of gas style). As far as the JFK stuff, I was just messing around, no offense was intended. Not sure how exactly I looked stupid, with 85% of the scum bag shit that gets spewed on this board, I think I'll take my chances. Old Guys RULE!

I 'm glad to see Sammy winning again, & would love to see him win Nationals
But I'm sure everybody realizes that winning a regular Knoxville show is a far cry from beating the 100+ best sprint car teams & drivers in da woild
Stranger things have happened tho...Go Sammy!
Wonder if DeWease is going....that would be cool too....

nobody said anything about august but you and as far as where he started and the redraw the last i checked the driver doesnt control the invert..so you can pump your brakes sammy hater!..#stillwinning
