Congratulations to Lance, nice to see him winning again!
Too bad (for the fans!) he's not running all of Speedweek, if he had run Path & done halfway decent he would probably be way ahead in points by now.
But he says he's enjoying not running every nite, its his life....
Go Lance!

Well, he & Kreitz both said they'd be at Port tonight. I'd bet dollars to donuts if he keeps winning, they'll keep racing. Just sayin.

A Ford wide open on a 6 inch tall cushion would have had a tough time with the 69k. Amazing. That thing is on a rail.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

That was a complete and total beat down unleashed upon the field by the 69K last night. It's amazing that they're winning like they are but even more amazing is how they're winning. Damn near every time they've hit the track, it's been pure dominance. He's one of the few drivers anywhere who can start dead last and stand a reasonable chance at winning. I couldn't be happier. The entire Kreitz team is first class all the way and a lot of folks had Lance dead buried but I don't think anyone is questioning whether or not LD still has it because he looks like circa 1994 Lance Dewease right now. They're headed to Port tonight and at this point, you have to pretty much figure the race will be for second because other than Hodnett, no one else is even close.

A Ford 410 engine wide open would have a hard time keeping up with anybody whether it's on a rail or not ............................

Everybody was saying the same thing about Stevie Smith last year.

Yeah I'm sure every sprint fan in central PA would love to see the 69k at more races but if running a limited schedule keeps the team fresh and running up front, you gotta respect that. I also have no idea how well off the team with it's financial backing. We all know it takes a lot of money to put a car on the track even if you are winning. I'm just glad to see Donnie and Davey still involved and Lance standing in VL again. After last year, I wasn't sure if I'd ever see Lance holding another checkered flag. Sometimes it just takes the right combination. Rather than seeing the 69k run more so-so paying races in central PA, I'd really love to see LD get another shot at the big prize in Knoxville while he and the team are on top of their game. He's run very well at times out there in the past. Anyone remember that prelim night when he was en route to lapping damn near the whole field until his tire blew?
