My guess is 40-50 the first two nights and then 60 plus on Saturday. I see no point in running a support class for this event and it will not be missed. Track will stay in better shape and I see this event growing year to year and hopefully reaching $75,000 to win in the next few years
Money was added to the C and B. First non-transfer out of the B gets $2,000!!!

I also seen Byron is running Knoxville this year. I was at Eldora when he crashed hard, it was pretty scary and I understand not wanting to come back. But to tow out to Iowa and run there and not here? I have seen much worse winged car crashes in Knoxville, the speed is just totally different there than Eldora, atleast as a fans perspective it seems like at Knoxville they are cranking more rpms than Eldora.

Yes Byron had the crash on the frontstretch in April of 98' which badly broke his leg and the header he took down the backstretch around the year 2000 or so and that was the end of that.

The sadest thing of all looks like the crash in Florida in Feb. was the last we will see of the KING bad part is he was running real good that night and just jumped the cushion.
I stii think they should have kept the 360s on at least Thursday and Friday now its just two more Outlaw races, traveling nine hours its nice to see some variety, and some of the double duty guys might not make the trip now.

Good point about WG, I remember guys going back from Knoxville

If you want to concentrate on the Grove championship....then why go to THE NATIONALS...flying home for Friday is really stupid in my book. When you are at the biggest race for sprints your whole attention should be on that not Williamsgrove.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

My friends that are there said nothing about rain and neither did the WOO twitter messages. Track must be in great shape they are running the B Main now - not yet 10 pm at Eldora.

Alls I know is that the PPV video tonight was flawless with multiple cameras and great graphics. And an exciting race to watch.

Great night at the track! 46 cars, a few I didn't expect either, I'm sure they will gain 5 or so more tonight and hopefully 10 more Saturday. They messed around getting the track ready before hotlaps, but I will say they hit the nail on the head with it. We are going thru an almost draught and they didn't re work or water it one time. Well done tonight Rob! No rain either north of Dayton, it was plenty warm there, but I can handle that instead of rain. Ready for Knight 2!
