Man i thought for sure the top PA teams would get off the porch for this one, guess it'll be about the same cars as usual.

$20,000 Williams Grove points battle will keep the teams running local. Hell, it brings teams in the points chase back from Knoxville to run that Friday so they can stay in the points battle with the teams that don't go to Nationals.
Brent Marks and Ryan Smith will be there. Maybe Logan Wagner in Dadetto's car.
Also, James McFadden will be there in the Highland Tire 3. He's still subbing in for Pat Cannon.

No go for t-mac, was hoping this was the year he would be back since the increase purse and no points at Knoxville that night
|
I believe he runs for points at Badlands now not Knoxville.

That kinda sucks, was thinking of going to Port. Scratch that now. Can't blame any teams for going out there and racing for that kind of money.

I hope the rest of your post is correct because as far as I know Barger never ran a 305, he started racing in Pa in a 410 and has since aquired a 360 or 2 so he can race with the URC, ESS, Patriots.
|
He actually started out in 360's with ESS and PST before getting a 410.

I wonder why not? I think he would be a contender....
|
Hasn't been out there in a few years, not sure why. This is the biggest budget car in PA.

Did anybody take notice to the purse structure??? No two finishing positions pays the same money.. Sounds like Tony & the boys want racers to race for positions. Hey Pa. weekly tracks, take notice???!!!

I don't they will have many more cars than they have had in past years! Should have left 360's on the card!

No, for a race 8 hours away. That isn't smart. Nor should they take the weekend off for The Nationals. I don't understand why Greg wouldn't go. He would probably win more in 3 nights at the Kings Royal than he would racing here at home. Probably even close to what he would win if he wins the point championship at Williamsgrove in one weekend.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Ryan Smith confirmed. I agree about the 360's. If Tony's goal is to draw a bunch of cars by boosting the purse quit a bit, I doubt it'll work. He would really have to kick in money towards the b and c main. I have a feeling they will get 60 cars which is perfect for the kings Royal format, but that's only 5-8 more than normal. I would really like to see 6, 12 car heats though. They very well could have bumped the payout and kept the 360's on the card. I doubt it really changes the crowd so he wont make anymore money on that end. It'll be a packed house either way, not world 100 packed, but very close to that.

the last time I saw Hodnett in OH (perhaps he has been there since?) he was in the Apple 12...pounded the field silly on Friday and GOT FUCKED SATURDAY ON A BUM CHANRGE OF JUMPING THE START IN HIS HEAT.
I went in the pits during intermission...the entire crew was fuming...

Danny Smith is not going, Carson Macedo is not running the 9x, and really doubt Chris Andrews will not be running. The rest are possibilities though. I would assume Zomer will be here, but u never know. Crabtree said he will only run when the all stars are co sanctioned and I think that is only Saturday night.

There was an article about Bell running. I'm not sure what nights but he will be in the KKM 67. Zemunik is going to PA for 2 races before heading home. Courtney is leading points for Indiana Sprint week and said he will be sticking with that. Polyak was lacking an engine but was looking to rent one. Anyone know about Byron Reed? He is going to Knoxville but won't run Kings Royal?

Byron hasn't ran Eldora in years. He got hurt there and hasn't gone back.
