Wow. The recap of the race will look boring. It was anything but. A couple of impatient moves by gravel and Pittman. Excellent restarts by balog. A lurking schatz. The "home" crowd behind him. What a fantastic race for the front row finishing 1-2.
(We did see u a few rows below us during the heats. See u Wednesday in Rockford)

Yeah I found out too late you were sitting behind me. I was pretty hot and sweaty and kept moving around. Very happy for Bill, he earned that one, 40 laps! He wasn't perfect but he was better than everybody else tonight. See you Wednesday!

Pretty cool to see a guy like him get a big win like that. I've never had the pleasure of seeing him race but from what I've heard, he can get it done as good as anyone.

No a fan of the Alaskan Cheesehead, but anytime you can go to the top and battle to a win you deserve all the congratulations, so congratulations Mr. Baylog.

He has that skill that enables guys to get wins. That drive to not ever take it easy. People complain about him winning against IRA competition too frequently but I've seen a lot of those wins and the way he races through lapped traffic is something to behold. He rarely ever gets caught once out front. I love the fact that he did it way up on the cushion all night too, those guys are my favorite to watch. Pretty sure he did tag the wall in 4 once but he recovered and brought it home. A night that open wheel dirt fans in WI will never forget.

I was watching TV last night and following racing on Twitter but fell asleep and didn't know until this morning. Very cool to hear this. When Bill moved down from Alaska he was living about an hour from here in western Wisconsin and I was writing at the time and would see him often. We found out we both both play guitar so when I run into him more often than not that is the subject of conversation. There have been a couple Flat Out articles about him and I had the honor of doing the first one which required a phone call and emails to get facts straight so I got to know him and I think that he's a great representative of the sport. I am happy for him, this was an awesome win for Bill. My opinion, Gibson guitars is missing out on a great sponsor opportunity.

I just watched the highlight video and he flat out earned that one. Hopefully he'll make a journey to Pa sometime. I'd love to see him race.

Yes he did flat out earn it. It was not one of those races where one of the front row guys gets out front and runs away in clean air. Had to blow by two of the top cars on the circuit and then hold them off multiple times. Very exciting race with a crowd that was ready to explode.

Well earned win, i hope this shuts up all the balog haters out there. Hes the king of the ira, proved himself with the NSL and now has a Woo win under his belt. Being from Wisconsin myself, i gotta say watchin him get better and better over the years, this is truly awesome to see! Congrats to the whole 17b crew

When Bill was from Alaska, he use to come down to Grays Harbor Raceway 3 or 4 times a year, and even ran a few Northern Sprint Tour shows in Yakima at the end of the year. A real nice guy, parked by my dad over at Yakima one year, had a open trailer, and a older car. I want to say this was in 2002 or 2003. I been following him ever since, and this is awesome to see. Congrats to Bill, well deserved win.

Hey Strange, this win does not count because he was cherry picking correct?
