As I recall from a few years ago, USAC claimed they could not get enough drivers to commit to a one night race in Oskaloosa (The Ultimate Challenge) since they could not do so because the drivers have regular jobs that would be affected by them racing for only one night so far from Indiana. Now, that seems to have changed since this was exactly what USAC has done at Jackson. So why won't they commit to return to OSKY?

Actually over 4 nights they run Jackson Minn, Eagle Neb, then 2 nights at Lakeside in Kansas City. Jackson was not a 1 night stand alone show.

Most of them are excited as hell to get the chance to run there. They will have a lot of cars for that race.

I stand corrected & thanks for the info oswald. Still wish they would run the Ultimate Challenge at Osky again.

That's good to hear, anytime you see non-points race it makes you wonder how many will tow out. unfortunatly there could be 100 wingless cars there and I wouldn't be able to go the $65 price tag is a little steep. But that'll be cool to see a massive amount of wingless cars. My 1st ever wingless race was at husets back in the 90's if I remember I believe Kenny Irwin Jr. Won.
