Last Saturday temps were at 116 during the day but the sprints and sprint car fans turned out at Arizona Speedway just to the East of Phoenix in Queens Creek Arizona.
The ASCS Southwest Sprints were on hand as well as the NAPA Desert Wingless 360 Sprints.
With all the heat the track crew had their hands full as they watered the track for a week straight, most racers were impressed with how wet the track remained for the night of racing.
