I am not sure why this has to be a thing now.. Team outlaw team Knoxville
its not neccessary to have another rivalry or why we ever need posse outlaw controversy either. But maybe
some is trying to be a copy cat

I think they call it marketing....not sure they are trying to start a rivalry so much as they are just trying to create an atmosphere something people can talk about.

I take the opposite perspective. I think the "rivarly", if that's what you want to call it, is good for the sport and a strong marketing strategy especially considering the lack of parity between locals and the WoO this year. Terry McCarl joins Lance Dewease and Chad Kemenah as the only drivers to beat the WoO this year.
I'm still considering Madsen an Outlaw since he spent the last half-decade on the tour and has more wins and Top-5's this year as Sides, Schuchart and McMahan combined.

Last night Johnny Gibson was referring to K. Madsen as part of Team Knoxville. I think he's raced 3 local shows, winning 1. Obviously he left to race Eldora WoO weekend sweeping it. Left to run Texas WoO weekend and run Bandlands Silver Shootout. I consider Madsen like Sammy. Not WoO, but hasn't been running Knoxville consistently enough to consider him a local again yet...Even though I think he has the closest shop to Knoxville Raceway of any 410 team in the country.
And just for the record...unless McCarl goes back on WoO tour he will always be considered a local of Knoxville. Just because someone is paying him $150,000 to race at his track on Saturday's instead doesn't change that.

150,000? Do you have facts to support this claim? If so, I would like to see it. If not, shut it. McCarl himself said he could be bough and made a business decision. Please provide factual information or stop with the bullshit.

Put a name on it. Just like Jim werkman on here talkin like you know sometning. like I said, maybe McCarl McCarl lynton, dobmeier, Henderson, and mcgilvrey are getting paid. But do you really think someone is going to tell people?!? You're crazy. So again, give us a real name. Who specifically told you that TMAC gets $150,000 cuz I heard $50,000 and I heard $100,000 and I heard $125,000 and I heard $200,000 plus a house with a dog. dont just say "you know people" Give us a name that means something.

u give me 1 i say ONE good reason tmac is running husets and not knoxville, when he lives what 45 minutes from knoxville.
it is called buyout. plain and simple. business decision was to take chuckys money for free or stay and run knoxville like he has almost all of his career. u are just another rookie from 2015 that knows nothing i say nothing.

Blah blah blah. Don't get so defensive Jim . I didn't ask for a reason. I said twice now, maybe they get paid, maybe they don't. But I just simply asked for a name or names of people That you've spoken to who have told you that these drivers get paid. Why can't you do that.

ya don't need names just open yoour eyes and you can see what is going on. Tmac puts butts in the seats, ya he said it was a business decision, well right there tels you he his getting more than finishing pay to race there, my god veryone needs to open their eye's it is pretty simple.
henderson is another one the 1 car would hardlk ever leave knoxville's porch now all of a sudden they are up here. they said in the past that they can not afford to race but 1 night a week, ya this is probbally great or justion having a new baby.
it does not take names to see that a pay off is there how much know one knows, i have never said a dollar amount but it is just common sense that it is going on with tmac, justin, jeffry(to some point) not sure on tk owners and zomer because they live up here same with dobs, he is loving the 2 day deal so he does not have to go to kville to race every week, but he did back down on going there last year.
so like i said just take a step back and and look and then tell me 100% that these guys have not been paid off to race here.
as in anotherr post chucky is throwing money around like water on a hot day, in the long run it is going to hurt the 3 tracks that run 410's with the big fight that is going on.
how many of the cars had actual 410's under the hood, gaurentee u not all of them. but more money to the 360 guys who show up they are getting more to start than most tracks pay for 3rd place so if i owned a 360 car i would go and take the money also.
every one needs to open their eye's and see that the payoff is happening how much only 2 parties know(per car)

Alright Jim maybe you should open your eyes AND EARS and just look and listen for once...
Nobody knows if McCarl is getting paid or not. It's classified as a RUMOR.
Lynton is racing Badlands simply because he now has a car owner from up here.
Now the 1 car is not getting paid either. They broke a motor week 1 at Knoxville and that put them out of Points. They currently have 1 engine for now, and they need to be easy on it till they get one fixed. They go to Badlands because it is a lot easier on motors then Knoxvile. So until then its time to look at the radar and decide where to go for that week.
Your question is how many cars had a 360 under the hood with the 410s. Last night there was only 2 360s in the field. And yes you're right they are getting paid more to start then most guys get for 3rd. There's one catch tho, they have to race through a B-Main to get into the A for that start money.

For those that don't think McCarl and Henderson's car owner aren't getting extra cash, there's an old county song that would fit you,,,,Went something like, "Ocean fron property in Arizona"

Hats off to McCarl. Take Schatz out of the equation and locals have owned the Outlaws at Knoxville and the Grove for years. Schatz is having a hard time with new rules. Knoxville $150,000 is prime for the pickin'
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Kerry Madsens lives in Knoxville! How do you consider him not a local.

So haven't most of the drivers listed in this post been out on the outlaw trail at one point. I go once an outlaw always an outlaw. So they are outlaws running at one or two tracks. hm
