Unfortunately, I agree. I'm not sure what the hell happened there because Lincoln had the best surface in Central Pa not long ago. Maybe the clay they got is junk? Not sure but Putney is one of the best in the country do I have no doubt he'll figure it out.

Confused on the make-up feature. Why didn't it award full pay and USAC points?

this happened one year up at certain speedway close to Burlington Washington. a certain promoter just refused to pay!!!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

I get why it didn't pay points as it was full invert and a makeup from 2 years ago. Why it didn't pay the full purse, well that's a specialty of a certain promoter we all know and love. Glad the chance of rain last night was 0%, we all know what would have happened had it risen to 20%. haha

I wasn't there, but if the field was set two years ago for this makeup feature, why was there an inversion and were drivers allowed in the race that didn't qualify two year ago?

I have to admit the 358 feature was pretty good. Unfortunately the wingless cars just don't race well on that type of surface.

All of what is said here is true , did Lincoln put new clay down last year ? it has to be done either every year or every other year . As far as purse paid out , I believe some of the purse was paid out to drivers last year when they canceled the race early to help USAC with drivers expenses . It looks like now that Sunday at Susquehanna is shaping up to be a good USAC race with the size of track and new clay put down there .
