The man from Fargo, North Dakota almost made it a clean sweep in the first week of our National Sprint Car Poll, receiving seven of a possible eight first place votes. Donny Schatz's final point tally came to 199 points, where 200 was the maximum that a driver could receive. Positions 2-5 were filled by Danny Lasoski, Daryn Pittman, Brad Sweet (who also received a 1st place vote), and Greg Hodnett.
The panel of voting members included:
Blake Anderson, Brian Liskai, Tony Bokhoven, Bobby Gerould, Mike Leone, Kyle Symons, Anthony Corini and Tyler Beichner.
Find out who ranks 6-25, and see which drivers just missed the cut, by following this link: http://thedirtnetwork.blogspot.com/2016/05/top-25-weekly-sprint-car-poll.html

I realize it's a pointless argument at this point in the season, but how is the Dude #2?
And why would Sweet be behind Pittman?

Voters can go by their own criteria, so I can't give any validation to you as to why they ranked where they did. However, week-to-week results play a large part in everyone's rankings so that could be the explanation.
