The track for the All Star show was just fine. Dale Blaney was the best all night and he started up front so there was never a race for the lead but behind him there was lots of passing. Perhaps you forgot what Dave Blaney was able to do? In case you don't remember, he started 24th and finished 4th. Not too often you see a guy come from barely making it tbrough the Consi to run top 5. Are you ever happy with anything?????

Sir , yes I am happy alot of times , at races and elsewhere . Yes, Dale Blaney was hooked up that night and was never a race up front . And yes, I saw Dave Blaney and Brent Marks come from behind . But it was extremely rubbered down that night , it hardly ever is like that at Port Royal , plus the fuel stop on the 3rd lap and alot of cautions which caused the fuel stop and basically those 3 cars were the race . I have seen better races at Port then that night ,as I've seen better races at other tracks. As you know Port Royal is one of my favorite tracks to see good racing at among others . Thanks for your comments as always , I hope you liked my response to yours .

I know In am getting a little bit olod but did Stevie have a pretty good run at Knoxville in 2014 ,I do know he had at least one podium at the World Finals last year.
At Susquehanna Lance came from 13th to just miss beating Hodnett first time out.
None of Lances wins came from the front row check out how many of Hodnett and Stevie wins came from the front row.
Like the other poster and Gators have said its not just that hes winning but winning easily.

Give Davey Brown 3 months at Knoxville every week (not 3 decades) and he would be the one doin the smoking.
|
If nothing more than a tribute statement to Davey Brown, I doubt he'd need 3 months.
All the other legends in Sprint Car racing - all racing in my book - drivers or mechanics - start from a distant second to Davey Brown.
Now there's a book that you wouldn't put down until you read it three times!

It will be a great weekend , who knows maybe Jac's ride will come in , but I have a feeling he or his wife will be there to root on Sheldon . I also look for 40 cars or more on Sunday .

Per Twitter, Stevie Smith will at the Weikert Memorial tomorrow. No word on Monday, but maybe that depends on how he does on Sunday?
