What was up with the restart that allowed BK, and I believe Scelzi, to pull down a lane and pass about 5 or 6 cars before the leader was anywhere close to the starting box? Maybe the officials ignored the tail end of the lineup because it was getting late? Just curious if anybody got the scoop on that. I'm assuming that's how Tyler's feelings were hurt as well as being what triggered the ass chewing that I could hear from the stands. And did Walker choose not to restart the race or did they choose for him? The fastest the 73 went all night was when Tyler was pushing it through the infield, that thing didn't look good at all.
Great night of racing though. The Thunderbowl rarely disappoints. Rolled in to my driveway a tick before 3:00am, happy. Tired, but happy.

agreed and being a turn four junkie we saw them all. talk about a crock of chit...
they state that when the pole setter gets on it, it's fair game.
it was not by any means. what ever happened about the pole setter setting the pace? in all fairness to all drivers there, get your shit together ok?
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

No one has ever been penalized for jumping that wasn't in the front row.

To many cars getting thrashed on the restart KWS doesn't pay enough purse money to have that kind of damage! True statement the officials are watching front row and everybody else can do what they want something needs to change!

Agreed on pay. I don't claim to know the logistics of a bigger purse but the KWS has fallen behind. California is expensive, no doubt and I'm ok with a $20 ticket price, I'm happy with the racing I see, and the shows generally run smooth, so I personally have no complaints. Having said that, maybe we could see 30+ cars at every KWS race if the purse was a little better. Forseburg, Moore, Becker, Walker(consistently)...

As the field came down the backstretch, over the radio the scorer said the back of the pack was not in the correct order. I think the curfew drawing near led to the decison to go anyway, resulting in the world's first ever four wide restart (at the back of the pack). Cars were two wide just before the green but that doubled as the green appeared.

That's exactly what I was wondering about. I was assuming the late hour was to blame for the lack of correction.

Well Typical pmg show, officals performing bady, like at all of the pmg shows that are identicle to this one, which use all the same officals at there events, lead by a way over the hill race dictator,he has the final say on everything,so its a lose lose for everyone envolved, his drivers meetings are way to long, with most walking away confused, anyone who know Steve Faria, the promoter,he puts no pressure on pmg to get done at a decent hour, but with 4 divisions, your behind before you start, but it can be done, especially with low car counts, but not with this group of officals, way too much confusion, they work togeither every week, but still its like,an over heating single stroke engine with no coolant, every week,The Fans and the Teams deserve to get what they pay for, they deserve alot better then this, but its a win win for pmg though

Its a rigged game that is not going to change. Bud Kaeding came up light
after winning a KWS race at Tulare a few years back. The officicals laughed
and let it go.

Things could change, but it will take a serious overhall of the officals, starting with the race director, and getting a score keeper that knows how to line score, she is a computer operator not a score keeper, and the computer only does what you tell it,and she doesnt know what to tell it,because she is too busy stuffing her face
