May 7th Madras Speedway

With the combining of the two groups that run in the Northwest part of the US, Oregon Double Shot Series and the North West Wingless Tour in to this know as Northwest Sprint Series. Race one was held at Madras (OR) Speedway.
If the rest of the year goes like the first race Rob Lindsey maybe the 2016 champion. Linsey sweep the whole night winning his heat race, dash and main. The other heat was won by former WoO racer Gary Lynch.
The main event had a 8 for the invert so the heat winners started 7th and 8th in the main. Heat one on the inside, heat two on the outside.
Madras is the only track the Series pill draws at, as Madras system does not work with AMB transponder system.
The other big mover in the main was Ryan Arnold in his dads 07 car starting 5th in the main finishing 2nd. Tim Alberding starting on the pole and finished 3rd with Guy Weedman starting outside front row and finished 4th.
Heat races are lined up at Madras off pill draw low number starts on the pole of heat one, next low number on pole of heat two.
Dash is the top two cars from each heat inverted so the second place cars start on the front row. Dash is for points and trophy only at Madras.

Heat One finish:
1) Lindsey 2) Arnold 3) Rhodes 4) Alberding 5) Rothe 6) Butler
Heat Two Finish:
1)7g/Red Lynch 2) Moreno 3) Parker 4) Weedman 5) 7Blue Horner
Note: there were two 7 cars owned by Lynch one red and one blue that is why the R and B
Dash Finish:
1 Lindsey 2) Moreno 3) Arnold 4) Parker
Next race May 21st at Cottage Grove (OR) Speedway. All cars with a 360 engine are welcome.
