Sammy is testing for Gravel. His qualifying times are not that good. Lets face here if ur not KKR or Schatz ur r pretty much screwed. Im glad to see Joey running well, but they dont have the motors that the NASCAR sponsored cars have. I feel this is going to destroy sprint car racing, especially the new format which totaly sucks. Might as well just have the dash cars for the feature, gone are the days starting outside the top 10 and winning. I think the Outlaws did this so when they go to PA they wont get spanked. By the Way Craftsman has never sent me my free sticker that they promised 3 months ago. I would rather go see a NSL or All-Star show, at least the smaller teams have a chance. The Outlaws are catering to there teams, thats the bottom line. One other thing about Sammy, dont forget he is 60yrs old, I would like to see anyone at his age still make a Outlaw show. My 2cents worth.

its only a sticker but it bothers me they used it as a ploy to get people to join their mailing list...i know a fair amount of people who signed up and no one has gotten any, late models or sprints

Wide open a foot from the wall to win like Kerry........ Sammy's crazy and old but not stupid.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

KKR OR SCHATZ have not won a race since 4/18/16. What ever Sammy is testing, deffenitly is not working. Seems to me that he goes backwords during the a main. Why is it going to destroy sprint car racing? Have the NASCAR teams not been with Greatest Show on dirt for years. Sammy,Kinser,and wolfgang did not destroy sprint car racing when they were winning all the time. I am willing to bet you that, nosewing you have, the outlaws are not worried about the pa possie.

WoO Event @ I-30 speedway _ Little Rock, AR _ April 26
Qualifiying _ 1st Swindell, 2nd Gravel....Heat # 1 Winner _ Sammy Swindell, Heat # 2 Winner _ David Gravel
Dash _ Swindell - motor 6th, Gravel - 4th ....Main Event _ Gravel 2nd, Swindell flips ..then restarts and finishes 16th
@ 60 yrs old its a treat to watch Sammy...enjoy it..

The WOO may not be worried about the Posse, but other than Schatz winning a few races over the past couple of seasons there & Gravel turning Smith around in the Open for the wins I will be willing to say that they are gonna be more than ready to get off the East coast as soon as possible. Most WOO engines come from builders in Posse country & KKR motors are from Capetta also in the heart of it all. Rider, Ott, Morrison, Kistlers in Ohio. Seems as though Shaver has fallen behind a tad in the 15 TSR, but the season is still young & the cream will rise to the top. Lance may take over where Donnie left off back in the 90's with a Davey Brown built piece too....It should be interesting to see who makes the shows each night & who doesn't now that provisionals do not pay $$$...
Back to Sammy. His best days of a stellar career have passed him by & is in a position to make some $$ on somebody elses dime until let go. Can't blame him for that reasoning.

Yet another example that it takes more than good stuff and good drivers. The road behind Steve Kinser and Donnie Schatz is littered with good stuff and good drivers.
As mentioned above, The Mr. Fast Fred Rahmer looked downright awful in this car in 2012. Need more be said?

I doubt Kerry will be ready for such an effort at Sammy's age.

MY quess is your Posseee.. dont quote me here but if Sammy is testing for Gravel he is doing one hell od a job. the past 5 races Gravel has nit finished any worse then 4th pretty impressive at eldora and this past weekend Gravel timed 15 on friday and got on that podium and was Hard Charger.. so that having to time in the top is wrong and then he gets quick time saturday and wins!! Thanks KKR TONY &KYLE for the motors.. and if the Nascar motots are the motors to Beat Glad Shane set quicktime and was on the podium all weekend.
Get back to dropping the kids back to the pool!! Peace?

Can someone please remind me what it was that Sammy Swindell was supposed to bring or add to this team? He was lapped traffic both nights at Eldora and has been a non factor at pretty much every event he has graced the field with his presence at thus far. Gravel on the other hand is having a pretty respectable season at this point.

only the possee can beat the outlaws right... well besides Gravel on the podium saturday night it wasnt Possee standing besides him and it wasnt outlaws either it Was Bacon And Miller. cuz we know the only great drivers are from PA

True that, Sammy is his own setup guy and that's why he's not running up front. Like I said, he's out to lunch on these Hoosier tires. Sammy is not testing anything for Gravel. Nor was he testing anything last year for McMahan. I'm not exactly sure why he was even brought into CJB. If anything, he needs to be taking setup advice from Gravel's people. Anyone else wonder why Sammy struggles at the Nationals to get into the A, but Kevin can seemingly show up and jump in the Indy Raceparts car and be much faster? It's not because Sammy can't drive any more, he's probably still as good as anyone out there. He can't get the chassis where it needs to be on dry tracks.

Yeah well the two best teams KKR and TSR are crew chiefed by Posse Blood, and most teams have crew members from Pa. What,s your point. guess it takes posse to beat posse.

So people do still care about the outlaws? Who knew? I couldn't tell you who's in what car with the WOO anymore, could care less. Forgot that CJB was still ownin'. Didn't know they had 2 cars. Good for them. Hope it's worth the millions they are spending to be out there.
