I think many are going to the Lone Star Nationals at TMS Dirt Track. But aside from them runnin sprints......I dont know why any of them stock car guys run Lawton.
Poor super sprints..........they're gonna so much crap tore up down there. especially if some of those outta control boys from sfs head down there. I'm only half-joking.

All of the Super's that I've talked to are pleased to race at Lawton's Winter Nats. At least we're getting to race somewhere.

That's cool that they are pleased to come down here.
Didn't they get to come down here last year, or was that just a rumor? I can't remember...to early in the morning...

I think it would be more pleasurable for the sprinters if someone were to disable Lanny's golf cart. Maybe then he would stay in one place..........quietly. doubt it, but its worth a shot.
But you're right man - I still don't know why there aren't at least a couple of specials for supers at Meeker or maybe Ada.
O BTW Cheese........I'm pretty sure........not 100% but about 90%...........that the size of OSP (Ada) is 4/10's of a mile.
If I'm wrong somebody feel more than free to correct me...........

Oklahoma Sports Park is 4/10 mile clay oval track, and from what I have heard for other stock car drivers, and sprint car drivers it is one of the fastest tracks in the area.

Anything bigger than a 3/8th is a 1/2 to me. Ada and Dallas are smaller 1/2's and K-ville and Eldora are bigger 1/2's.

Hey Cheese, whichever it is 4/10 or half, Ada is fast. I wish it were closer. I think its the sweeping back straight that makes the difference! Good luck to you sprint guys this weekend if you are going to Ada. We were there this last Sat. Track went dry-slick for features & took alot of rubber!

Ada is fast! The configuration of the track lets you build lots of momentum, the only problem is the speed exiting turn four likes to suck you into the concrete front wall.. Love it, it's a drivers track!

I guess I am gonna flip a coin thursday night ...kinda want to race both ..... But only one is a sure thing for goin dry ....So thats where I will more than likely end up ... Dont really have the motor to go mud boggin .
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

how's that? Drivers are different on either track.....doubt you will see any lawton cars go to ada. It's probably too fast, too wide, and too big for em. They will stick with their lil po dunk water bogged one groove in-one groove out race track.
