Just a note to tell everyone that this week at Selinsgrove , gates open at 4pm , admission is $ 20.00 and the good point is it is only one division show , the All Stars and Posse 410's .I hope the place is packed and I think it will be .

I have never seen them start on time, hope they have a good turnout last few years have had a hard time getting LOCALS TO SUPPORT.
If all 13 All Stars that ran last week continue to fallow they shoud be able to get 30.
42 at Bedford was a big surprize alot of western Pa. support Thanks to all them that made the tow in!!!

How can you make any comment about starting on time. It is under new management. The longer Charlie was at Selinsgrove the more you could tell he didn't care. This past Saturday They had 4 sprint heats and 3 late model heats and 3 pro stock heats and a sprint B main. I live about 1/2 hour from the track and I was home by 10:40 and I stayed for all the features.
I am very worried about local 410 support at all tracks. Only 42 between two Saturday night tracks. 24 at Lincoln and 18 at Port and we are only in April. What is it going to be like come August? I love 410 racing, but it looks like the full field of sprinters are only going to be if you have a traveling series at a Saturday night track.

Track was great Saturday night. Racing from top to bottom all night long. If Cody Keller would have been any higher he would have left the park. He was a whole lot crazy this past Saturday night. He did a great job....kissing the fence about 3 or 4 times in the feature with the right rear. That was the first time I had been to a race all year. I give them a thumbs up for the first night 33 - 360's 23 - Late Models and 23 - Pro Stocks.
I am thinking of going again Sunday night. I am waiting to see how many All Stars come east Saturday night for Port. If only a few show up. I doubt I will go out to Selinsgrove. If 10 or more All Stars come east I will be at Selinsgrove.

I'll be there. 410's at Selinsgrove are awesome. I'm still amazed by the speeds at that place. Hands down the fastest track in PA. Should be a good show. Hopefully they get the track slick and wide. That's when Selinsgrove is at its best.

Again, under new management. Charlie didn't care anymore. Nobody knows if they will or not, but I will say it probably will be close to the advertised time.
I know when I have gone to other 410 tracks on Saturday night in past years they sometimes wait a little for the Sun to go down when they start at 6. I don't think Selinsgrove will, Saturday night was a great night of racing. Couldn't have asked for a better track to race on.

Before anyone complains and gets confused on start times, the All Stars memo says warmups at 6 so that puts race time at 7 at best.

If they're running for points they'll come. I believe 13 drivers are listed as full time drivers for points this year. Unless someone breaks badly at Port then you should expect/hope that all 13 All Stars will show for the weekend. And with there being two races in Central PA it's worth the tow for the weekend. If some Western PA guys travel East again this week like they did for Bedford last week it'll be a good car count when you mix in Posse guys.

13 All Star full-time members: Dale Blaney, Chad Kemenah, Kraig Kinser, Cap Henry, Sheldon Haudenschild, Danny Holtgraver, TJ Michael, Lee Jacobs, Caleb Helms, Andrew Palker, Caleb Armstrong, Kory Crabree & Brad Howard.
Tim Shaffer then is pretty much race to race in the Rudzik car, NY's Joe Kubiniec is supposed to run a lot of the All Star races, and Ryan Smith did all 3 last weekend and will run the 2 this weekend.

I think it will take maybe an hour , maybe a little more from Carlisle . I would suggest to go up 81 to 322 to 15 north follow sign for Selinsgrove just past Rabbit drive in restaurant . Hope you come and come a little early for a good parking spot and seat .;

fortunately, I will be in AZ on Sunday...but I will surely do my part by guessing even the parched desert of AZ will have more moisture than the SG track by the end of the night!
don't forget to pack your goggles, dust masks and expectation filters...past experience says you will need them
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Yes, everyone listen to Big Right Rear, he's a true 410 fan, except for when they come to Selinsgrove, he is also as Posse proud as they come yet he takes every opportunity to bash Selinsgrove which happens to be in Pa. Yes Big Right Rear you are a true ambassador of the sport and the Pa Posse. Great job!!

Notice that Big Right Rear also posts all the Pa tracks and their top speeds in his signature in an attempt to let everyone know how bad ass fast the racing is in Pa is, and what do you know Selinsgrove is on his list and has the highest mph.
Either spit it out or swallow. I realize that may be easier said then done , it's probably hard to figure out which one is which when you have so many in your mouth.

Your not that bright are you? Let me explain, when you are an ambassador for a sport it's not a title you give yourself. Even someone recognized as an ambassador for sprintcar racing (Brad Doty) would never say "I'm an ambassador of Sprintcar racing",
People will recognize you as an ambassador because of your vast knowledge, your service to the sport with no expectation of anything in return, and your total respect for the sport and anyone associated with sport.
Obviously you have vast knowledge, hell no one even asks and you are constantly blessing us with your knowledge. So you got the first one. Service to the sport, other than babbling on here, the only thing you have ever given to sprintcar racing is a reason to not to come to Pa to watch a race for fear of meeting you or someone like you. So you failed on the second part.
Respect for the sport, what can I say, the only thing you respect is Lincoln, and it's a great track but it ain't the only track. So you failed the third part.
I certainly hope that was clear enough of an explanation. I called you an ambassador as a sarcastic back handed insult and your too dumb to get my insult, please dont make me explain sarcasm to you.
Any other comments?

I was up at Selinsgrove last Saturday night and it was not that bad . Yes, they started early , so it did get a little dry but there was a lot passing , cars were able to come from the back , as Mark Smith did . They have not put new clay down in a year or so I believe but every time I've been there it has been a good race . Last week was no exception as Cody Keller had a good night. This week will be a good race as well with there goal to start on time and finish fairly early .
