I-90 Speedway near Sioux Falls recently closed for a minimum of three years.
Here's a story I wrote about the history of Hartford/Red Devil/I-90 Speedway.
Sorry, I can't figure out how to post an active link. Maybe someone can help an old guy out.

Great write-up. Thanks for posting it. I spent quite a few Saturday nights there in the 90's. I bought my first race car from the great Shawn Reed, who is listed with 41 wins on Butch's list at the end of the article (Chevelle stock car, $600, & I had to make payments! haha). Always interesting to hear news from the area. That's a nice place to race & I will blindly believe it will open again someday.
Meanwhile, what a great time to be able to race Husets! It's always been a great stage to race on, and it sounds like the spotlights will be burning even brighter this summer.

Peril, not variety, is the true spice of life.

Thanks for enabling the link. I think I remember that car of Shawn's. I remember him driving a Chevelle at Lake County Speedway.
