In November I met one of the nicest guys I have ever met in 30 years in racing , his name was Dave Lawrence and was the crew chief for Donny Schatz. This was their last race as a team and Dave was heading back to ND to unload Donny's stuff as Donny was heading for Australia and when the new year came around Donny was heading to Tony Stewart racing But Dave was not part of that plan. I felt badly for Dave he had worked very hard getting Donny to the top but no longer had a job,,,sucks to be unemployed like that, Dave spent a lot of time just talking to me and a few friends from ND and we all felt for Dave and it just didn't seem fair how he was being treaded by the Schazt team....I was wondering if anybody knew if Dave had signed on with any new teams, this guy is a WINNER and should be on a team, any news would be appreciated.
