Do you have a tangled mess of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings in a drawer somewhere that is about as fun as going to the dentist to sort through?
Tresor Paris Bracelets I did. I have come up with some creative and cheap ideas to display your jewelry in an aesthetically pleasing way while keeping it organized and easily accessible. The first resolution was for my earrings. I wanted to be able to see all my earrings presented in a simple way without going out to purchase a new jewelry box. I took an old frame and removed the glass and the backing so that it was only a wooden frame. I then went to the hardware store and purchased a small amount of metal screen, yes the same material that is on the windows of your home. I used a staple gun to secure the screen to the back of the wooden frame. Now the frame presented a screen surface in place of the glass. I simply placed the earrings into the small holes in the screen and my earrings were organized and easy to find.
Tresor Paris Crystal Organizing my necklaces was an easy fix as well. I simply used two small picture nails and a strand of clear fishing line. I nailed the two nails about one foot in width apart from each other, but keeping both nails at the same height. Then I tied the fishing line to each nail so the line was tight across. Now, you are ready to clasp each necklace around the fishing line so it will hang from the line for a perfect display that is easy to access. If your bracelets have a clasp, the previous technique can be useful for your bracelets as well. However, if you have some slide on bracelets I have an alternate solution for organization. Take a long wood nail and hammer it into the wall about an inch. Then you can simply place your bracelets into the nail. This can be used for you rings as well.My personal advice is to be selective where you place the nails. Obviously it is more convenient to have all your jewelry in one place and close to each other. I used an empty linen closet/medical cabinet with very thin shelving. However, if you don't have an obvious place, just use your creativity and your possibilities are endless!
