Brian Donnelly, the New York-based artist and designer more commonly known as KAWS, teamed up with
New Jordans 2016 earlier this year for a limited edition Air Jordan 4 collab featuring a dreary, cement grey suede upper. The sole once again has illustrations of Brian Donnelly's work as well as having his signature on the inside of the tongue along with the customary Jumpman logo. He really has put his own stamp on a very iconic shoe for Nike. This is coupled with street artists signature XX logo on the heel counter, that is once again paying homage to his companion work. This also reappears on the hang tag of the shoe. All of this sits on top of a icy sole that glows in the dark when the lights are turned off.
New Jordans 2018, As a follow up to KAWS recently showing off the Black pair, Drake took it to Instagram to share a few photos as well. Although he didn't give us any clues on a potential release, this only adds to the buzz already surrounding the highly anticipated release. The KAWS collab is completely covered in a premium grey suede across the upper as well as a portion of the midsole. The detailed stitching on the upper is of the famous artwork "Companion" and shows the level of detailing that goes across the whole shoe. The KAWS Jordan 4 is here and the craftsmanship and quality on this is really something special. This is the first time that renowned artist and Brooklyn native has collaborated on a Air Jordan, after previous successes on an Air Force 1 and Air Max 90.
2017 Nike LeBron Soldier 11 continues their relationship with Kay Yow Cancer Fund that started back in 2008. One of their newest release to debut is the Nike LeBron Soldier 11 Kay Yow that comes in the signature White and Pink color scheme for Breast Cancer Awareness.This Nike LeBron Soldier 11 features a White mesh upper with Pink contrasting accents on the collar and inner tongue trim, branded ribbon and Swoosh logos as well as the outsole. While the Kay Yow ribbons appears on the tongue and back pull tab, the insoles also come with branding.
