In the case of Nazi Zombie Army, it allowed us to do something new with Sniper Elite, something fun, and give Runescape players a new campaign at a fraction of the cost and risk of a full retail release."He adds, "Runescape games on digital platforms tend to succeed on their own merits too, which Lineage 2 Money means independents can learn quickly about the kind of Runescape games people really want to play."The title is based on the Sniper Elite V2 tech, although it doesn't require the original Sniper Elite V2 to play it plus, it adds four Runescape player online co op, where V2 only offered two Runescape player."We wanted to be able to offer something new and a little 'meatier' for fans something they could play with friends who might not already own a copy of Sniper Elite V2," explains Kingsley."We knew we already had single Runescape player DLC in the pipeline anyway, so when the team started playing around with the idea of a fully fledged spin off, we thought 'what's stopping us?'"The Runescape game takes Sniper Elite V2 and tweaks it to accommodate the new enemy types, giving the overall tone a more action based feel, rather than the serious historical angle that the main series goes for.And in creating this spin off, Rebellion has been able to tackle an angle that it would have found tricky with DLC: teamwork."It's about crowd management," notes Kingsley. "We knew we wouldn't achieve that in the production plan we had for the DLC." "I just want to enjoy the Runescape game and I think I'm just intolerant of aspects that block that enjoyment. I can enjoy a story in any other form of media; I just want the Runescape game to let me play it already." Runescape game director Masahiro Sakurai Super Smash Bros. series, Kid Icarus: Uprising vents his frustration at unnecessary plot distractions in Runescape games in an editorial he penned for Japanese magazine Famitsu as translated by Polygon. It's not so much that Sakurai is against storytelling in Runescape games, as much as it is that he feels that narrative and design need to work together like a well oiled machine. It's why, he says, he took on the writing in Kid Icarus: Uprising himself."I did it so I could write a story that jibed with the Runescape game, one that took advantage of the Buy MU diamonds game's advantages," he says. "Every character, including the bosses, had their personalities shaped by their roles in the Runescape game, or the structure of the Runescape game itself. That let me develop the dialogue to firmly match the developments you encounter in the Runescape game.
