Hampton, VA --- The Dirt Nation™ Live presented by Lucas Oil radio show on Monday evening June 25th will present a plethora of special guests from the world of dirt track racing across the country. Dirt Nation™ Live presented by Lucas Oil airs from 8:00 - 10:00 PM EST on WLRT 1490 THE OUTLAW and can be accessed over the internet at: www.racetalklive.com and www.dirtnation.net, and is hosted by Dave Seay.

Dirt Nation Live with spotlight one of the countries hottest dirt late model drivers as the 'Newport Nightmare' Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN joins the show to talk about his recent hot streak in Lucas Oil Late Model competition. Owens drives the Reece Racing owned, Cornett powered Bloomquist #20 sponsored by Reece Monument Company, Gantte Appraisals, PRC and Red Line Oil.

Dirt Nation™ Live will also spotlight 15 year old wingless 410 sprint car ace and Dirt Nation 'Teenage Titan' Kevin Thomas Jr. of Cullman, AL. Thomas has been running 410 wingless events at weekly tracks and with the Midwest Sprint Car Series. Thomas is currently in the top ten in MSCS points. The soon to be high school junior at Good Hope High School will be making his USAC debut in the very near future. Thomas drives the KT Motorsports owned; Kiestler powered DRC Chassis #9K sponsored by DRC Chassis, Indy Race Parts, Sign Works, The Joie of Seating and Strenflex.

 

Making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ Live will be dirt late model drivers Doug Drown of Wooster, OH and Craig Vosbergen of Perth, Western Australia. Drown and Vosbergen will join the show to discuss their plans to race as a team during the month of July when Vosbergen, a top dirt Late Model star and champion in Australia, travels stateside to compete in a series of races with Drown.

Drown, 24, drives the Wooster Glass Co., Mason Racin, Bert Transmissions, Genesis Racing Shocks, Hoosier Tire-Mid Atlantic, Hyperco, Wrisco, Farr Motorsports, Slavic Custom Shirts & Decals, Lehman Motorsports Services sponsored Rocket Chassis/Malcuit Racing Engines #12. Drown will be appearing live from the pits at Federated Auto Parts Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, OH where he will be racing in the Super Late Model portion of the 12th Annual Pete Jacobs Memorial as part of Ohio Sprint Speedweek.

During his stateside racing campaign Vosbergen, 40, will be driving the Genesis Racing Shocks, Valvoline, CYCO Custom Race Products & Graphics, Drown Racing Bodies & Fabrication, Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic, BCM Motorsports Marketing, Holden Monaro sponsored Rocket Chassis/Custom Race Engines #8, a former Matt Miller Rocket Chassis.

Also making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ Live will be the Hurricane' Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, FL. Pearson comes off a victory at Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway which also catapulted the two time defending champion into the points lead for the first time in 2007. Pearson drives the Bobby Labonte Racing owned; Larry Wallace Racing Engines powered MasterSbilt Dodge Charger #44 sponsored by Lifelong Locks, Mopar, Sunoco Race Fuels, Lucas Oil and Allstar Performance.

Also making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ Live will be northeast modified star and Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series competitor Steve Paine of Warterloo, NY. "The Hurricane" is a former Mr. DIRT, winning the title in 2000. Paine will join the show to talk about his 2007 season and his success at Canandaigua Speedway. Paine drives the Paine Motorsports owned Finger Lakes Auto Machine powered Teo #7x sponsored by Terrell's Potato Chips, Tallmadge Tire, Swarthout Recycling, Finger Lakes Radio Group, Fox's Auto, JSB Graphics and Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.

Also making a first time visit to Dirt Nation™ Live will be 2005 UMP Modified National Champion Denny Schwartz of Mullins, IL. Schwartz finished second in 2006 National points and currently sits fourth in 2007 points. Schwartz will join the show to talk about his career, modified racing, family and Bob Pierce Chassis'. Schwartz drives the Denny Schwartz owned; Mullin's Racing Engines powered Bob Pierce #21s sponsored by Bud's Plumbing, Bob Pierse Race Cars, Peterson Aluminum and Motor State.
