Don't remember the cars build so much, but I do remember seeing you run Hutch in '88 in the 4 cylinder class.
Was it red? And it seems like it had louvered panels, and just may be the number 4? Been a long time, but yours is the only name I remember from that story on that trip.
Brian, The car I drove was painted black and was # 95 it had gold on the front of the hood and on the top of the tail tank.
The red # 4 was driven by Mark Stasa.
The hood on my car was same style as the one on 1981 black/white 28 car Mike got hurt in. He broke his knee cap and suffer a serve concussion, it broke the blood vessels in has eyes too. He was side lined for the rest of 1981.
My dad bought that car from Gary in 1983 it was built by Jim Springer.
It had 1 3/8" cage, most cars were built with 1 1/2"cages.
If you look at the pictures of both of Gary's cars they didn't have nerf bars. There was no weight rule and they tried to save every pound.
