Few more cars from Texas, these pictures are from "Manifolds On Main", an event held last year in Dallas, I'm sure it will be held again this year.

How about a 130 mile per hour midget? Might be a little hard to get this one sideways, for the Bonneville Salt Flats

Ordinarily I only post cars from our region, but this car is too nice to let dirt even think about getting near it, still it is nice. From the Fresno Autorama, via the Jalopyjournal

This car after restoration will become the Lucas Oil Blast From the Past Vintage Ride Along car at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO.

It is a first generation Nova originally built by John Cornelius. It raced on dirt and asphalt through the early to mid 70s flying the number 57, it appears to have been mostly red at that time.

Then John sold it to Russell Long (Rylan Long’s dad) who painted it bright orange and put a 007 on it. With that number, it developed a bit of legendary status as possibly an old David Goldsberry car, however this is not correct. Russ later sold it to a 16-year old Mel Klusman of KRC (Klusman Racing Components). Mel raced it 78, 79, and 80 (still orange and still 007) then parked it for nearly 30 years.

It already looks better with tires on it.

The Murphee Brothers decided the sprinter needed a super to visit with, so they are at it again.

I'm thinking this is a Nance, early 70's

The Murphee Brothers keep rolling with their super project, they are just about ready to get their cars out there! The large picture files of this car show a lot of fine details, meaning up close it is sharp!

To the owner of this car- Please forgive me, I forgot your name just enough to possibly spell or pronounce it wrong. Please call or email me if you can

My # is 580-465-8351

Man, is this a unique and cool car or what! I dig those lines, familiar but all unto it's own identity. A subtle yet extreme approach. Another example of one man taking a super and by juuuuussstttt changing things an inch or two, he comes up with his own style! You should see the sedan he brought to Ada, rough but it hits in all the right places.

Anyway, this car has been worked on in the last 2 years. I just happened to buy the trailer when this car was on it. Had I known how good this car could look like this, I would have found a way to jump on it!

There is now a running 216 ready for this car that was Joe Farleys first race car. Hope to see it soon.
