I have added a jump menu to make it easier to jump between forums. It is located at the bottom right of the posts.
Thanks
Jeff

OK I give up. How can I seperate paragraphs instead of having everything run together? This post should be four seperate paragraphs with one line in between each since I hit return after each puncuation mark. What am I doing wrong?

What browser are you using?
My guess would be opera since there is no HTML formating in your post.
If you use Opera then you do not get the HTML editor you only get a text box to post your reply in and since it is plain text that you are submitting you will not be able to control your line breaks.
You can however use HTML in the text box and control your formating.
Thanks
Jeff

Hi,
In the text editor where you type your message do you see the formating buttons for the text editor or do you only see a plain text box?

Thanks
Jeff

Jeff, I can see formatting buttons NOW. I know I had a plain text box at work and pretty sure that I had the same thing on my home (IE v6.0.29) before today

It works now, thanks for whatever you did! I'll have to check out what it looks like on the older version of IE tomorrow, I didn't have time to surf this afternoon.

I didn't change anything or do anything.

Plain text box at work (IE v.5.5) with the words KTML-safe mode in blue underneath the smiley key. I guess if I want to get long winded I will have to do it at home. Thanks jeff

Try the following in order to enable full use of the KTML control:

  1. In the browser's security settings, enable active scripting. Also, check if JavaScript is enabled.
  2. If active scripting is enabled and the issue persists, check the firewall. If KTML works properly with the firewall disabled, you have to do one of the following:
    • Add the pages containing KTML to the list of trusted sites. How to do this depends on each firewall user interface.
    • Disable Browser privacy options. This blocks the script from checking the browser type.
  3. The firewall settings depend heavily on the particular product you are using. To find out how to set these options, check your product's user manual.

You can also just put a <br> anywhere you want a line break. This is the HTML for line break. You ahve to use the left and right bracket around br. So it would be <br>

You can only use HTML if you are in code view or in safe mode.
