I found out that most tracks, not all, but most, don't even look at scheduling until their end of year banquets are complete. We have a few race tracks that we hosted 2006 events where the promoter's contracts were up for renewel and most of them will not know the decision of their contracts until sometime in November or December, as is the case with Jackson Speedway.
We do have over a dozen Regional events already booked and have (4) of our (7) National Speedweeks events booked so things are looking good for 2007.
I will be sending out ASCS updates thru my e-mail listings about every (3) weeks and already have sent out a couple this past month. If you have not received these, send me your e-mail address so you can be kept up to date on all of our happenings.
I will also post the same updates on my message board here. The first one was informing everybody on our dates with North Central Speedway in Brainerd, MN. I just received news from the Kouba family that the July 7th race at Brainerd will once again be the Annual Kouba Memorial Race with additional prizes added to the payout.
We hope to be releasing our 2007 ASCS Northern Plains and Midwest Regional schedules in the next (3) or (4) weeks...CZ
