This could be possibly the last supermodified from the corridor to take on the big boys, depends on how you look at it.

I remember that race. If my memory serves me right it was colder than crap. There was some good cars in that race. Had Jeff Swindell in the Casey Luna 10 a year before Bobby Davis took over it. (I think it was 1 yr later) Had Donnie Crawford in Ed Wrights 77. Jack Hewitt in the Hampshire 63 sponsored like always by JW Hunt. I think the car Tony Armstrong was driving is the Don Berry Construction car out of California. Tony drove that car a few times and I think it was #39, but he can tell us for sure. Sure do miss those days
