Since I had a few users complain about wanting to change the sort order of the threads. The forum page has now been updated to allow the sort order to be changed. The sort order of the threads can be changed at the bottom of the thread table to the left side. Jeff

Thanks Jeff!! One question though... Is there any way to associate how we last had it sorted with the username so it doesn't have to be resorted every time a person logs in?

I said complain in my first post. I really didn't take it as a complaint when I was asked about adding a different way to sort the threads. When I typed this message it was pretty late last night and I was getting tired. Anyway I was thinking about doing it anyway so have fun.
If anybody else has something that is missing or they would like to see added please let me know.
Thanks Jeff

How about a "Next Newest Thread" button so we don't have to go back to the forum page?

Great feature!
I agree with hermannator about a way to keep this setting.

Jeff, is it possible that you can make the first few lines of the thread appear when hovering the cursor over the title of the thread. It saves having to open up the whole thing to get the gist of what it is about.
See www.australianspeedway.com as an example of what I mean.

The main forum page has been updated to show the first post when you hover the link. It appears to work a lot better in IE then in FireFox but it does work in FireFox. Jeff

Fantastic Jeff .... talk about being responsive to ideas!!!
In theory this should take some stress off the system, as a quick review of the subject matter may mean that a reader will choose not to open the thread up.
Excellent ...

I have updated the last post link to show the last post when you hover it now. So you can see the first and last post by hovering the links on the main forum page. How cool is that. Jeff

When we were testing a few weeks back filtalr requested that we add the hoover feature. I just wasn't ready to do it but after several more users requested it I decided to go ahead and get it done. Jeff
