I see people on other forms of social media saying "How can this be? He was running so well with the All Stars!"
Zero wins and 4 top-5's in 25 starts and 8th in points. While serviceable, this is not up to par with what Rudeen Racing likely expects. I wish the best for him and hopefully he winds up in another quality ride and has some better results.

Pie in the sky but I saw that Lane Racing is looking for sponsorship to be able to run the big races (Eldora, Knoxville etc). Wouldn't mind seeing Rudeen and Lane partnering for Cap to run the big shows.

With owner points being what gets paid at end of season I'd guess Rudeen will have someone that's not top 7 in owners points already.
If it is a current all star though, Wise is the choice. I'm going to go with tanner Holmes or Corey day though as my guess. Also Eliason was 3rd, 2nd and 2nd in points last 3 years so something other than just driver must have went south in the deal to drop to 8th at this point in this season in points IMO. Even the beginning of this year, he was 6th in WoO points before the All Star points season began. Good luck the Rudeen car and to Eliason moving forward.

<< tanner Holmes >>
Nice guy and very personable (I met him at 2 Ohio Speedweeks last year)...and a huge YouTube Following, from the Pacific NW, and maybe could bring some $/Sponsors, but the bottom-line he just isn't that fast in a 410. Hasn't yet proved he can compete at the All Star level. I'd be shocked if he gets that ride. But you never, ever know these days.

He was backwards or upside down nearly every night in the 26 team car at Skagit. Might be wise to stay in the 10.

How about Trey Starks? Won twice at Elma, and once at Dirt Cup. from the northwest.

yeah...i'm surprised about all the people wanting zeb in that care. i root for him since i saw him win his first usac midget race at kutztown a few years ago. it's better this year...but it felt last year that the car was backwards if not upside down more often than not.

Would Eliason be a better fit in the 7S on the outlaw tour,?
I like the Canadian in that seat. Not doing great but he's a brother, lol

Zeb Wise has been named the new driver of the #26 car starting with the Brad Doty Classic next week.

A lot of good talent and great talent out there right now and ole Zeb isn't in the group of great talent. Two steps backwards for Rudeen.

I would agree with this statement. Cory seemed to give that car the best results it has seen in quite sometime outside of this season. I think they made the feature for the Nationals and Kings Royal each year he was in the seat and in previous seasons I feel like they were no where close. It has been a down year for that team but I feel this in the long term it might be a better move for Cory depending on the ride he gets. Ran really well at Knoxville last weekend and it was a pretty good field of cars. That 71car can go it seems no matter who is in it and Cory is a plenty capable driver. Hope he is in it for more races.

He's 5th in all star points with 2 wins. I think he has talent but if the skagit dirt cup was an audition(8th, 17th and 23rd, multiple spins and a flip), not sure how he passed that one. The 26 is a big budget ride compared to the family owned 10 so the decision is a no brainer. Seems to be gelling pretty well with his crew on the 10 however. They've been fast.
