We're getting closer to the 2022 Knoxville Nationals and 360 Knoxville Nationals, meaning it's time for the yearly entry list updates thread. The Knoxville Raceway website does a great job of updating the entry list for both races, but it can sometimes be hard to pick out the new entries on each list if you don't check daily. I'll be updating this thread periodically to make it easier to keep track of the new entries each day.

Greatest time of the year, the lead up to the Nationals and the weekly monitoring of entry lists. I can't wait to get to Iowa.

Can't wait. Making my third ever Knoxville Nationals. Went in 2000, 2017 and again this year. There is nothing like the atmosphere if you are a true sprint car fan.

What's the "over/under" on red flags with Dumesny being entered?

Can't wait. Making my third ever Knoxville Nationals. Went in 2000, 2017 and again this year. There is nothing like the atmosphere if you are a true sprint car fan.

I have only been to two Nationals and the Eldora Sprint Million and all of that was twenty years ago.  What is a "true Sprint Car fan" and how can the millions of us who can't afford a week long trip to Iowa become one?  I have been doing my best to be a "true Sprint Car fan" since 1960 and am apparently doing it all wrong.  Please elaborate on how we can all become true fans like you.

Sarcasm alert by the way.  ;). They say I'm not a "true Vikings fan" on the Vikings message board and I have been a fan of them since their first game in 1961.  There is always someone on there saying "you're not a real fan unless you have (fill in the blank, attended a playoff game or whatever their yardstick is).  Different sport, same inability to be a "real or true fan".

With that said I'm content to wait for August instead of wishing a month of our short summers away.

I go to Knoxville weekly and I can tell you still after 33 years nothing gets my blood pumping like when I see that Mile Long Bridge just North of town or Highway 92 dividing into the 4 lane just before the Hwy 14 off ramp.

I share your excitement seeing Red Rock on 14 and wish I could see that every weekend.  It's starting my trip to get there half an hour north of St. Paul, Minnesota, that makes it difficult.  You guys get three divisions of all Sprint Cars for $15.  I get Super Stocks, one or both of limited Late Model classes, Midwest Modifieds and Modifieds for $20.  If I'm fortunate enough to catch them on the right weekend I can watch a dozen and a half limited Sprints in between everything else.  Nothing against any dirt track classes, they all work hard and love what they're doing, but most of the local racing isn't enough to lure me out from in front of streaming a big Sprint Car race taking place elsewhere.  The Outlaws are coming this weekend so we'll see how things shake out by Saturday.  I'm guessing 25 to 30 cars based on past years with UMSS winged Sprints as support class.  I think the ticket prices is $45 so I have to convince my wife that I have a legitimate need to drop $100 on Saturday night.

I just realized that Saturday is my wife's 70th birthday and I'm guessing that she would prefer going out to dinner to me dropping that $100 on a solo trip to the races.  I don't think this is going to end wel.  ;)

4 hours is not too bad of a drive! Unless your planning on driving home after the races!!! I travel just under 2-1/2

Knoxville is six hours.  The drive there isn't bad but the redeye drives home aren't fun anymore.  Live racing is great but nowadays I only do it when my son is going to be there so I have someone to sit with.  He has gotten away from racing the past few years right about the time I could use a travel companion.  I/we used to drive to tracks all over Minnesota and Wisconsin and drove home at all hours of the night and thought nothing of it.

Is there really a Fuctonville in NY?  Is a Fucton more or less than a $hit-ton?  :)

I did a quick Google search and it's apparently supposed to be Fultonville.

Perhaps Chase Moran needs to work on his penmanship?
