Saw on Gravels bday post his parents "bought" his Nationals winning uniform "from her". At the end someone says "that was not easy my friend" in which a lady responds "I wont comment while its recording". I thought the Split from JJR was amicable? I guess its surprising she kept his suit to begin with... yet alone sold it back to the family. Seems like some animosity there.

They could have asked to buy it and she didnt want to sell. But she decided to which may have been a hard decision to make. She may have given it after the family offered to buy it.
See all the could've should've etcetc. We dont know, wont know.

I saw the video and rolled my eyes and thought it was childish. The tone and how it was said and even though you don't want to say anything while recording, it gets posted to the public anyway. Either say what you want to say or don't say anything at all and don't post it.
Bottom line, either the owner purchased the suit or it was provided by the sponsorship, either way she owns it and has the right to sale it or not.
