Glad to see Atomic back. A $ 15,000 the week before Speedweek. And Atomic again during Ohio Speedweek. Being in Columbus, Ohio I certainly like this!

+1 (from Lancaster)
I think they might be breaking some kind of law by having 2 Speedweek shows south of I-70!

I would like to know that also. Especially, no race at Grandview. I guess someone at Bloomsburg had more money to throw at them. Bummer!

Although I am happy the new reconfigured Bridgeport gets an All Star race I was shocked it was at the expense of Grandview. Some of the best 410 racing each season in Central Pa has been at Grandview, which usually packs the place with fans. Makes no sense to me. They have supported the All Stars for years.

It is very easy to figure out why the new Bloomsburg Raceway got two All Star dates. The track is promoted by Steve McNeil who is also the promotor at Port Royal, which hosts the All Stars miost high profile and best paying race each year in The Tuscoura 50......

Perhaps they don't like the way the track is used up by the modifieds. Maybe Bob Miller did not want to pay a different sanctioning fee, do not know if there is one, but with an increase in points-pay-out, that money must come from somewhere. As much as I like open wheel racing (especially USAC) at Grandview, I have not gone since they put the modifieds on the bill after the first time, just did not enjoy the show as much.

I assume you meant Steve O'Neal and the Tuscarora 50. At least get the man's name correct.

I wished smeone woudl map their mileage, assume a home base of say Cols, OH and compare the schedules traveling to years prior, lots of 'out-of-state' racing, not that it needs restricted to OH. Just wanting a comparisons.
Hard for the wekend warrior to support the ASCoC if working a full time gig.
Ton'y workign to make this a Mini-WoO tour?
Is the FAST, AFCS, OVSCA, WPSCS, (NRA, Racesaver, Former OSCS) eating into their OH based schedules?

So why did Attica lose its 2 day Labor Day weekend to Sharon? I've been going that weekend for year.

Yeah that sucks, I guess the new kid on the block with more money gets the date. Does any sprint fan in central PA even care about Bloomsburg? I'm 30 miles away from there and I don't. We already have enough great historic dirt tracks in the area and some of them are stuggling to keep the lights on. Now we got a new track stealing their shows. smh

The racing at Bridgeport has been phenomenal since they refigured the track. Perfect size and shape for sprint car racing.
