The Short Track Nationals (70 cars, 4 days) and a very nice $15,000 to the Victor. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce to you, Samuel Swindell for the fifth time.....
LOL, I just went back to Bill W's great site and realized the story I read (always read the small print) was from 2017. OOPS, that's an awful big mistake. I profusely apologize for my errored (sp?) ways. I thought it was strange when I couldn't find any results and should have realized the one near the bottom was a wee bit old, again MY BAD...
Thanks to those who did not HAMMER me when you had the chance, I expect a wee bit more flack now, deservedly so. Enjoy...

Don't care if you like him or not, you gotta respect what he's done and what he's still doing even though he's eligible for AARP. The dude ages like whiskey. He can flat out wheel it. Still winning.

There's no doubt that Sammy is still winning, but he didn't win the 2018 STN as far as I can tell. The results, for a once big event now down to 2 days seem to be a closely held secret by i-30. But according to results on another forum's post, Blake Hahn took it this year.

Surely you jest. I respect what Sammy has done throughout his career and what he’s done for the sport (even though I’m certainly not a fan of his). I’m also quite impressed with what he does at his age (and that is not a derogatory remark). But, kind sir, numbers are numbers and they do not lie. In wins, Nationals and WoO titles he plays second fiddle. A King he is not, a prince maybe, but no matter the statistic, Kinser‘s atop the standings.
