Should we be expecting the driver page of the WoO site to be updated soon or is that an abandoned thing?

Good for him & the team but that'll be one less car at the $100K Mansfield race

With all the money you pay to view that website, you should demand that it be updated moment-by-moment.

I thought the same thing. Tim had a very good chance at taking that $100,000 in my opinion.

This is great to hear. When was the last time, if ever the WOO had this many drivers running the season? Based upon the crowds I've seen in person and on video, the health of sprint car racing is doing well.  It seems people are turning back to "grass roots" racing.
Good for Tim!

Glad to hear that. Been watching him for the last couple of years and I think Tim  is one of the most under rated drivers around. Strong steady runner

In 2005 I think they had 15 full-time Drivers, that was my last year doing many of the shows and there were lots of cars.

Tim will be a man to be reckoned with, he qualifies well and is always going forward, one of the nice guys on the tour as well....

In 2007, the WoO had 26 full time drivers start the season. @23 full time drivers finished the season in 2007.

That was the year the NST came back in the fold and the Outlaws kept most of their “mean 15”.

not sure how many ran the whole tour, but anything over 20 is too many.

They have a good mix now, Shaffer will fit into that mid-tier right and threaten to win 5-7 a mains.

Outlaws are going to have a stout field os drivers. Will be nice to see the steel city outlaw out there mixing it up with some young blood. I think he will do well.

As a way for fans to learn more about the drivers it sould be updated as drivers sign up for membership has nothing to do with what we paw to view it....they are a professional series and should keep it updated as a way to show respect for the fans who check out the website !!!!

Glad Tim is joining the outlaws.  I wonder what changed his and the teams minds?

I thought I read somewhere Tim said he liked running a true outlaw schedule and not committed to racing when they didn't feel like it.  I also thought they said about not having the crew to run a full schedule with a series.

It would be interesting to find out what changed him and the teams mind. Anyway good luck to Tim and the #49 team.

The answer to most every question whether it's racing, life or whatever is money. They must feel that at the end of the year they will be money ahead.

LOL. What?

Yes, teams are on the Outlaw tour because the net profit is so high. Car owners not backed by NASCAR money often leave the Outlaw tour after a few years because they make so much money that tt is a better use of time to sit home and roll around naked in all the money they earned after expenses.

Teams run the Outlaw tour for a variety of reasons, but turning a profit isn't one of them.

What was the number Pete Chesson said he spent chasing the Outlaw tour, a million dollars? And that was 15 years ago.

I don't think they're allowed to race anyplace else on a nite that WoO is racing, there are other restrictions, I'm not really sure of details

A few years ago there was a big controversy cause Jason Sides was denied his points $$ for the season for running an unauthorized race...

"outlaws" my ass, right?
