Opening up the month of March, Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore) will be hosting an all-IMCA Season opener featuring the Sprint Series of Oklahoma IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car Series, IMCA modifieds, IMCA sport mods and IMCA stock cars on Friday and Saturday night, March 9-10. There will be an open practice session on Thursday night, March 8. I am checking with IMCA to see if this will be national points for IMCA as well on both nights.

The eighth annual “Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout” will once again open the season for the National Championship Racing Association 360-ci sprint car division on Friday and Saturday night, March 30-31, 2018. Both night’s will be complete shows with Friday night paying $1500 to win and $200 to start while championship Saturday night will pay $13,000 to win and $600 to start.

The NCRA modified season will open up on the weekend of April 13-14, 2018 with Friday night’s portion paying $2000 to win and Saturday night paying $3000 to win. Official payout will be as last years “Chisolm Trail Shootout” at 81 Speedway last November. Also on the race card both nights will be the NCRA mod-lite season opener with Friday night’s featuring paying $500 to win and Saturday night’s mod-lite finale paying $1000 to win.

The NCRA Sprint Car Series will make their first Oklahoma appearance since the mid-2000’s and inaugural appearance at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma on Saturday night, April 28, and will be joined by the NCRA Sprint Car Bandits. Both series are actively looking for a Friday night track to host both series.

As mentioned earlier this year, Memorial Day weekend will see the NCRA sprints compete on Saturday night, May 25, 2018 with their normal $2000 to win purse while Sunday night will see 81 Speedway host the NCRA sprint series for the second night in a row. Both nights the series will be joined by the Texas-based NCRA Sprint Car Bandits. They will be joined on the race card by the Oil Capital Racing Series sprint cars ($1500 to win) and the United Rebel Sprint Series ($1000 to win). This event will be the second annual “Sprint Car Maynia.” Last years version saw 93 cars pit side for one full night of sprint car racing action.

On Friday night, July 14, 2018 the NCRA 360-CI Sprint Car Series will make their inaugural appearance at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas as they will join the American Sprint Car Series Red River Region. Both series will then travel to 81 Speedway for another series showdown and will be joined on the race card with the NCRA Mod-Lite division and the new United States Auto Club (USAC) Wingless Sprints Oklahoma series.

On Friday and Saturday night, August 3-4, the Belleville High Banks will be hosting the inaugural Belleville 305 Nationals and sanctioned by the URSS. Below is the official payout. More information on this huge event for the IMCA Racesaver 305’s will be posted soon.
