Post the pictures and we will try and solve this mistery. What would be the chances of getting copies of the pictures? While we were racing we didn't think about taking pictures . I think my next car I will name it THE HOTEL LINDA or the CHICAGO CLUB you would have been there to understand . These were whore houses in TJ or TIJUANA> Those were the days. I keep thinking one day a mexican will show up at my door and say hello daddy.

I raced with Scott in high scool and after Viet Nam. If you can post pictures of the car in question I will try and help with what I know about the car. I have herd rumors that the car is in the Tulsa area I would like to see it again. Post those pictures.

Good luck to you guys, I am out of this one. Like I said, the owner lurks here often and I don't want to upset anything.

Shane Carson sent me a few pics of his old car. This is of Scott Carson when he first had it, right before the Mar-Car Nationals that year.
Greg Lee owned the car and sold it to Bud Carson. Greg also came over and tuned the car a time or 2 to get the bugs out for OkC

Shane gets the car in late 1973. He runs it as a #10 for a while

Of course this one as in the same at the first of this thread. The #112 came after the ORA strike against Bud in 1974.
First win on four wheels came at I-35 Speedway in Norman, others called it Goldsby.

At Dewey, OK mid to late 70's, this time in black. The sprint cars were calling as well as offers from other teams, so not long after this time the car was sold.

Brian and Buswaker,,i went out today and got another look at the 112 car that is in SW MO. I am pretty sure it is not the Larry Deuel car. I may be lost on this one . It was # 112 ,but the last time it ran its was #11. It had a Maroon or Red body and was then painted blue...There are no numbers or markings on the car ,the tail piece is gone..I cant tell if it was a Sprint tale or a Okie tale but i think it was a Okie tale or Nance tale.A Nance tail would fit right on it.
The only thing i got to go on is the way the number was made or the shape of it when it was 112 . It does have a X brace in the back of the cage so it is a Nance style car.It does have a old Tulsa speedway sticker on it so it had to run there at least once. But its so faded i cant get the year ,i just know its a Tulsa sticker they put on all the cars. The sticker is 2 inchs by 3 inches....And it has a wing that goes on it. That is a nice twist aint it.The wing had been sanded to were you cant read what is there,,but it was blue.
I have looked at every 112 i can find and it dont match..Very one of a kind number the way it is made.
But may have another car for you,,its a Sprint Car{ # 11 AM} ,it was Red or Maroon and it has Yellow lightening bolts on the top of the hood and the sides of the hood.It did have a wing. But the wing is not with it.Does this ring any Bells.. Looks like from the 80s.
Also found the wereabouts of the #33 Coupe Modified that Bud Purky drove in Coffeyville in the mid 60s,,it is in SW MO. And the same guiy has the #32 Black 1956 Chevy Bud Perky drove as a Late Model. ........I had i fun day.. Got a few more i will list later that we need help on also.
Win as if you are use to it.And lose as if you enjoyed
it for a change. Its hard to get to the top and alot
harder to stay there.

I dont think he is wanting to sale the Perky Coupe,he has redone 2 other cars from the samr time frame...It is still in pretty good shape. Enough there to make it work. I will asked him . And will let you know.
