Sorry about that. Sure thought I read a post about the Trophy Cup and it said $20K to the winner (high points).

Guess the folks better stay back in ARK-N-SAW!

Racing on a 1/2 mile sure hasn't hurt 410 racing that much in and around PA. I've been to 2 big 360 Nats shows in the last few weeks plus some people I know went to a couple more. Same results follow the leader on rubber and the STN has been that way the last 4 years and I doubt that changes this year.

You are correct Leon. It pays $20,000 to the overall Trophy Cup champion. This came from Bobby Gerould's site HammerdownUsa. Last year TK won $15,000 for being overall Trophy Cup champ. This yr. Southwest Contractors put up $5,000 more for the winner. Can't wait for next weeks race! TK, JA, Larson, Dobmeier, Jason Johnson, Shane Stewart, Brady Bacon, Saldana, Lucas Wolfe and many more! Its going to be good. Just wish after that I could make the STN, but there's always next yr.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

The 23rd Annual Comp Cams Short Track Nationals will push off for Night 1 of 3 on Thursday, October 28 on Tracey Clay's speed plant otherwise known as I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR. Advanced 3 day tickets are $45 + convenience charge which will save you $10 if you purchase tickets the day of the show. A 3-day pit pass is selling in advance for $90 + convenience charge which will save you $10 as well.

As usual, this event will draw more than 100 sprinters that want to compete for the $15,000 first prize and $2,300 to start the "A" on Saturday night. The King of the True Outlaws, Sammy Swindell, will compete for the big money in Tod Quiring's Big Game Tree Stands #1 sprinter.

I hope to see you there...

Anyone know if there are any good drivers out there looking for a ride at the ST Nationals?

"Kyle Larson doesn't have a ride for STN"

---------------------

I just saw this post and I can verify that Kyle Larson is still without a ride for the Short Track Nationals, but he has been pursuing one and would definitely like to run the STN again. He had a lot of fun last season and it would be really nice to see him get another opportunity back there this year.

I agree Gary. I had the pleasure to meet Kyle at last years STN, great kid. I'd really like to see what he can do since he broke in hot laps on Saturday last year.

I guess I forgot that Kyle was at the race last year. Who's car was he in? I just remember that Allard was in the Sparks #91.

Yep that was the one. He looked as if he was getting accustomed to the track on his qualifying night. I was really looking forward to see what he had learned come Saturday until he broke in hot laps. I've read so much about the kid I know he can get the job done and like Allard last year I really love to see the guys I've read so much about yet have never seen in person give it a go.

Whose car will he be driving?

I don't know exactly what car it is but it is based out of Texas. El Paso or something like that I believe to be exact.
