Wrong as always. Article in speed sport confirming JJR to continue in 2020. Philip Dietz still the crew chief & sponsorship to be sured up. Still up in the air for the driver. Cars are are unhooked, just a lot of ppl complain when their drivers don't win

Great to hear. I hope Bobbi doesn't have to travel with the team full time if she doesn't want to. She has truly been an inpiration to many. The 41 team is as good as it gets. Hats off to all involved for an amazing season.

I really hope Gravel stays on the dirt tracks. He, Sweet & Schuchart are the future

But he seems interested in NASCAR & $$$ talks

Whatever will be....

Just occurred to me he doesn't have a nickname yet

"Connecticut Yankee in King Kinser's Court"????

thats awful, ain't it" wink

No, the team will be full time David will not be, he will be missing 8 weeks for truck races. there will be a fill in driver for the races he misses.

Not sure if he will be the only driver for JJR next year. Looks like he is spliting time between WoO & Trucks.

Depending on what races he enters I could see him skipping some of the west coast races as the trucks are out east in March. Even if he ran the full schedule he wouldn’t miss any month of money races other than Pevely. If he races Pocono or Talledega he’ll probabky miss the Jackson Nats and National Open.

Well have to see.

It will be very interesting to see who the JJR team gets as a fill in/part time driver when Gravel is racing the trucks. It will have to be someone who can be competative and yet willing to run only a handful of races..........are there that many drivers that can fit the bill out there?

My easy answer to that would be Joey Saldana.

1. He doesn't appear to be wanting full time anymore.

2. He's still very competitive in the right equipment,  hey, he was on the front row of the Nationals Championship A Main....

3. He's normally easy on equipment.

4. He's experienced.

5. He's worked with JJR already,  running Charlotte last year for the team.

Saldana would be my first thought as well he ran a very limited schedule this year and can go good just about anywhere'longshots Myers and Swindell depending on which races.

Gio would probably work, since he's supposedly running asphalt cars as well

Bobbi wasn't too happy with him at Charlotte last year. Killed a motor in the first heat race.

Depending what tracks Gravel misses you could see Gio, TK, Shaf, or some local driver who knows how to get around the track.

Being 27 years old, David's on the wrong end of the age bracket for teams to give a serious look. Plus, HMS/JRM do not have any truck teams, and Jeff Gordon isn't the guy that's gonna march down and open a spot up. The only thing in Nascar I see happening is a run at Eldora. DG back in the JJR 41 for 2020.

Well looks like Gordon was the exact guy to go and open up a spot for Gravel in the truck ranks haha

Gravel will be missing 8 outlaw shows, not 8 weeks.. Big difference!!!

he will be racing Kackson and the national open with the outlaws

take into consideration that it can possibly be less than 8 races, last year their were over 20 rain outs...

My guess is, they will probably put someone in that pays for the seat, like PPM, BAYSTON... those are my predictions

According to Jeremy Elliott's interview with David, Gravel stated he'll miss 8 weekends... He stated it wouldn't be fair to the fill in driver for him to show up and bump the guy out that weekend, (for only one night)  who is filling in... David also stated he will make all the big shows in 2020...
