not that it makes any difference... its not about the track, the racing, the cars, or anything else for that matter. Just take the time to remember Jason and others that have lost their life doing what they loved, entertaining the rest of us... RIP

Bridgeport is not a high banked track but is a wide, very fast 5/8 mile.
last year when the 410s were there lap speeds were in the 130's and the radar gun showed straightaway speeds were 160+

I feel like in the 33 years that I have been around racing that I have been pretty fortunate but I can't help feeling like my luck has run out. I have lost more people that I either knew or got to see race in the last year due to unnatural causes than the previous 32 combined. I may be a little off but it sure feels that way. In any event it would be nice to see an end to this trend.

Heard rumors that someone in PA is making stickers and all proceeds will go to his son. If anyone hears about this or knows how to contribute please let all of us on here know. Im sure we will all want to do our part to help
Real race cars don't have fenders...

All our thoughts and prayers go out to Jason's family and friends, and mechanics and car owner of the 13 Tom Buch. Jason was a hell of racer and will be greatly missed. RIP Jason
