If Schatz transfers out of the B (barring problems he should) I'd still say he has only slightly less of a chance than Saldana, Brown and Stewart do and a better chance than everyone else.

After the World Challenge race tonight we'll know more.    Speaking of, Schatz could still make the A right ???

Love him or hate him, at least it's gonna be a show this year watching him come from the back.

a first time winner or an unblievable drive, this will be a great night for many of those there, I was able to get to the wed & thur, and I can tell you I use to think driving home from knoxville on sunday or monday was one of the most depressing drives when this great week is over but that is nothing compared to having to drive home on friday knowing that saturday will have a first time winner or an epic run from a past champion, hope all are safe

Amazing.

And at least he found a way to make winning 7 of the last 8 interesting... from 24th, a new record.

Hats off.

From 21st, not that it matters.

He could have started 25th and he still would have won.

Absolutely astounding. I guess the Good Lord doesn't like it when people ask Him to intervene in a sporting event.....

My family and friends have been talking about this. Nobody wants to spend $50 on a ticket for Saturday to watch Schatz win again. My daughter had a good point. How would we feel if Brian won and we were not there. We are going Wed. & Thurs. then I guess we will decide.

What a theory! Whoever wins it deserves it. I'd pay 50 a night to see how the Nationals shake down. It's the biggest race event of every year . No matter who wins it. Enjoy it.

just goin off brownies record with the big boys(woo, ascs . Local or out west. ect) any time he aint at kville he aint shit.. He is a Big fish little pond at kville. . . funny u mention xx  a place brownies is too chicken shit to run... (Jason jhonson, kyle bellum, cornell, martin. Not exactly just nobodies) but there again jason johnson  didnt do squat there either...and yes they do have a few good paying shows there. as for races  I go too .... next week at kville will be my 29th race of the year in 6 diffrent states. if there is no rain outs this week and there was a lot this spring. . Pretty sure the wow region is as tuff 360 racers as any place in the mid west-plains.clearly  you are so un-informed.  but nice try  thanks for playing! better luck next time

I'm not even a Brown fan but you're an idiot. Anytime a Local/Regional guy runs in the top ten with the Outlaws says something and a top 5 is even better. Outside of Knoxville, here are a view stats for Brown with the WoO. Show me something to prove how Cornell, Bellum, and Martin have done better against the best in the biz. Otherwise, go back to your moms basement.

2014

Merced, CA 8th

Eldora 5th & 2nd

Kansas City 10th

Jackson, MN 9th

Best  thing   that could happen for  Knoxville  is to  get a  different winner  . The  50  lap race  is set up perfect  for  Donnie Schatz , best  car  ,  best  crew  chief . While  I respect Donnie  Schatz  much  as  a driver and person , it would  be nice  to see   a  different  winner . But  I 'd  really like  to see  no  tire  change , a splash  of fuel and  back to  a  shorter  distance , it would make a  better   race   for all  the fans who  pay all there  hard  earned dollars   to go to Knoxville  to see  great  racing  , great atmosphere, great  food  , a   true event  that  you have  to see  .

If you let Donny Schatz ruin your Nationals experience, I truly feel sorry for you.

I am going with Ray Lee Goodwin for the win.

I second that! May have to be Jr. though!

If the 15 wins it, no big deal, If someone else wins it, the crowd will go crazy again. It was the same with Kinser all those years. I will still go to watch the Cali drivers.

I'm just waiting for someone to break the 42 year California winless streak. (Cali's last nats win 1971) Go Cali Clique!
