Flo just got the rights to broadcast the NHRA for 3 years. Cost wasn't shared in the articles I have read. No idea if this helps or hurts the High Limit group or not. However, Flo has assembled an impressive list of events they broadcast all for $160ish dollars a year for an annual subscription.

How could this hurt HL? There is already a lot of drag racing on Flo. The NHRA events will be just another choice for fans to choose from.

So Joe Gibbs Racing is possibly interested in a HL charter?

I really don't care about the charter thing. I bet 90% of fans have no interest in it either
Are we trying to be Nascar jr?

Yes, the new genaration of fans want to see sprint car racing turn into a nascar type series. That's the "next level" the "real fans" talk about the sport achieving. You know, charters, fastest cars start up front, little passing, more provisionals , and lets not forget more hype and drama.
I followed nascar from about '75 to '05,I watched it change to the "next level" a few times and I completely lost interest and have no idea who does what in that sport. What I find interesting is that these new fans that know what is best for sprint car racing bitch about nascar and claim that they don't like it or follow it, but yet they think sprint car racing should head that direction. # Fickle Mushheads.
