It's good to see the purses going up for what crowds the Speedweek shows produce. $32k a show isn't an Outlaw purse, but at least it's getting closer.

No shame at all losing to the best dirt track driver on Earth

Now he's gonna do the same in Ohio

Congratulations Kyle!

also love how his kid always does the wing dance! Smile

I don't know about that. Looked like they were both going for the same line & Larson got the best of it

100% a racing deal.

Kyle owned PA this week. Won at 2 of the big 3 and already has a couple of past wins at the other. I don't care if you're a Posse chest thumper or not, give the man his due. He showed up and kicked ass. 4 wins, several 2nd's and only 1 finish outside the top 5 and it was a 6th place finish. He was in the mix every single night. He flat out beat everyone and he beat them very convincingly. Good job Kyle. Hope to see you back with us very soon.

ya know, having it handed to us the way Larson did isn't all bad. He's without question the baddest man on the planet in a sprint car. This isn't the first, or the last time the posse has been beaten, or will be beaten by teams that are outsiders. What it does do, is make the local teams better over time. There's a lot of pride in PA and a lot to be proud of. Trip to the local woodshed once in a while has its benefits overall.

Right.... difference between "fan"  & "fanatic"

You have to respect your opponents.... what does it prove to beat chumps? Did you hear the cheers when he said he'd be back?

Kyle's amazing

You're exactly right. The future in PA is very bright. We have a lot of youth just finding their stride and possibly some more on their way up. I don't get into the whole locals vs. travelers thing. I just like to see good racing and there's no question that this particular Speedweek was much more exciting with Kyle, Rico & Sammy here every night with the added bonus of having Bell, Reutzel and Eliason with us for a couple as well. Any speedweek is good but these guys were the #1 thing that made this particular edition one of the best in history.

Larson is very popular here in PA. Heard a couple boos all week but 99% of the fan reactions were positive. Can't wait until he comes back. He instantly adds excitement to any race he enters.

" I don't get into the whole locals vs. travelers thing. "...

I do, but I don't take it seriously, just more fun to root for one side.

My very first sprint car race was at little Clinton County Speedway, Empire States Sprinters & Patriots (I think thats the name) Gravel raced...after the race I stopped to get gas & was talking to people & commented that I was a bit disappointed that the fans weren't all worked up. (40 yrs. earlier I used to go to dirt track races in Va. & fans were intense..) Somebody told me to check out Outlaws when they come to Williams Grove. So I did... later that summer I flew from Colorado to the Grove for National Open, the year Sammy won, Dewease right on his tail & the fans were going wild...

The rest is history...

That National Open was 2010 right?  Remember the f*cking crowd packed into that place? There had to be 20 or 30 thousand people there. I was in the infield and you couldn't walk. The PA guys were on like a 10 race win streak against the WoO.  I've never seen an atmosphere like that at a sprint car race other than a Nationals or Kings Royal. Probably a tie for my favorite National Open right along with Fred in 2013. Good shit man. I'm hoping we get to have the 2020 edition in October.

That was my first big time race... REALLY sorry I missed Fast Freddy's win.  I loved his interview after the race, something like "Everybody said I was a washed up bum" wink

I've been a Sammy & Dewease fan ever since...
