Not many outlaws in the A. Lots of locals.

Makes it interesting.  Good to see.

When using inverts goes horribly wrong. Certainly not the norm, but it can happen.

Outside of Reutzal who had a great night and got himself in all likelihood a front row starting position, no one had a great point night. TK is 2nd with 466, which last year on Wednesday would’ve been 7th

Here we go with annual format debate.

How about making Time Trials  equal in points to heats (instead of equal to A Main) & inverting 6 instead of 8? Lots of guys who fans wanted to see didn't make the feature

I'm sure the Knoxville loyalists will disagree

The format provided the winner the format is designed to produce. A random winner from 55 teams who wins the A main. I know that is obvious but the event isnt about highlighting Larson or Schatz, it's about collecting 100 drivers and having just one emerge victorious on Saturday. Maybe some fans would have liked more big names in the show but they didnt earn it.

I think it is great that many locals and lesser knowns started ahead of Schatz in the A. Every team knows the format and supports it by showing up. The only thing Starks did was win while the others didnt. Its racing. Good for him.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Think you can put Sweet, Schatz, Gravel, Schuchart, and Larson (if running the whole Nationals) in the same grouping. Any one of those guys I feel can win this year & it will just come down to circumstances. Would like to see someone like Brian Brown get the win since he has been close a few times but they haven't seemed to have the same magic as he did about 5 years ago. Hopefully it returns.

Thats seems to be a pretty standard opinion

Schatz, Larson & Schuchart are gonna have some work to do Friday or Saturday now

We'll see about Sweet & Gravel

If Thursday shakes down like Wed did, I think we will have a new 1st time Nats Champ.

I remember a few years back when Schatz was in the B, people were crowning a new nationals champ.  With the A main format on Saturday I would never bet against the 15.

Definately not what you would have expected.Last nights track made it tough to overcome the 8 invert but tonight might be different and Friday will have some hungry outlaws

...In my best Don Adams voice from get smart..."Missed it by that much!" Other than Gravel, who had a pretty good race, wink I think Logan's performance was the most impressive in the feature.
