WoO needs to get a TV deal. Isn't that what made Nascar take the huge leap? People see Nascar on TV and think it is the top of the sports but WoO needs to SELL the idea to some network. If Sprint Cars were a regular TV event people would start to know who the drivers are and recognize it for more than a grass root sport. Or they could sell the grass root sport idea and get more of a following.
IMO the WoO series has more to offer for entertainment if they can some how make more passing.
Problem is the delays between races. I suggest they start 1 hr late, tighten up the TV schedule so there are less breaks and that gives the TV crews time to edit and follow the races within the race.
Just ideas but WoO and sprints in general are too much of a good secret.

I don't think the delays between races hinders a tv audiance at all. Those that are already a sprint car fan understand the reason for the times between qualifying and heats, and the delays between features. The key is simple. There needs to be some sort of entertainment in those time frames. I would think short promos on the history of sprint car racing. Maybe profile drivers from the past. That sort of thing. High lights from previous races that had exciting endings. The current fan would enjoy that, and the new fans recieve a bit of an education and will discover why the sport is so popular and has a die hard fan base. The real problem might be scheduling.

The suspense is unbearable....

I am not worried about Ganassi saying no, but more worried about NASCAR stepping in and making sure he has an appearance scheduled or other commitement to fulfill.
Target is pulling out at the end of the year, so CGR shouldn't be too worried about keeping them happy, but NASCAR might not like one of the biggest Monster Energy Cup names winning the 5 Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals.

What's the deal? Is he racing or not? Times a tickin'.
Edit: Looks like Chip just gave him the go ahead. https://twitter.com/CGRTeams/status/896053768315314176

Prediction...if he has a car capable of winning he won't be third...it'll be a win or crash trying.

Chip wants us to turn TV to NASCAR Sunday...
Maybe I'll have good ole Mom turn it on & not watch it while I'm on my way to USAC midgets at Susky....
Thanks, Chip!

Great news for Kyle and the 57/42 teams combined because I'm sure chip and his team will be pulling for him also. Now how do we see it live is my question ?

If Susky hits the track prep right like the last ARDC show the fans will be happy. Looks like good weather for the whole week!

Don't know about TV, but you can buy PPV on The Cushion. I thought it was too expensive, but couldn't resist. Now I'm glad
